I remember when OSO relased and Deepika was getting so much praise, attention and big A list film offers, and Sonam's Saawariya tanked, she was so bitter about Deepika! We saw how well her intelligent yet commerically viable films Saawariya and D6 ended up😆 Also she wanted a hit so badly she signed Anees Bazmi's 'intelligent yet commercially viable' film Thank You. I read an interview in which she said that she signed it bec. she loved the way Anees presented his women and what powerful roles he gives them🤣

In Sonam's case, she is trying to find a foothold in Bollywood whereas Deepika has somewhat found hers although its still shaky. I think once Sonam does become solid, she'll start doing those "intelligent films" she was raving about

Now if she learns to think before she speaks is another question altogether😆
