If they are not compettion than they can be best friends like deepika is best friends with Shahana even though they are both actresses, they are not competitive

Most of the time, if they are in the same league they can't be friends. A rare case in Ash-Preity's situation.

One of Deepika's best friends is Shahana Goswami, but they aren't in the same league. In fact she is very friendly and cordial with Asin, Anushka, Sonam, Genelia, PC..even saw pics of her with Preity and heard that her and Ash got along well during KHJJS when Ash used to visit sets. So there can be a cordial relationship between actors...just because they aren't besties doesn't mean they are enemies. 😊

Also people who said Sonam-Deepika's best friend act was fake-there was no act! Just two girls having a fun chat, did they say they were best friends??😕 They genuinely get along now but never did and don't claim that they are friends. They aren't direct competition anymore because Deepik has evolved into the higher league than Sonam.

I also feel as though Aish and Preity are friends because Preity had her success while Aish was still rising. Now Preity is into the business side of things while Aish is reigning at the top

Yes maybe you are right. But I thought Ash-Preity were great friends ever since they did their world tour together in 2001, when they were competiton?😊

You're right about that...I just looked at Aish's and Preity's movies at the time. Yes they were in competition at around 2001 but while Preity took off around 2003, Aish's career sorta fizzled (i wonder why) and it wasn't until 2006 that she started rising in Bollywood again

So I think we're both right here😆 They managed to be friends because their different career journeys didn't allow them to be in competition with each other for very long

I remember when OSO relased and Deepika was getting so much praise, attention and big A list film offers, and Sonam's Saawariya tanked, she was so bitter about Deepika! During interviews she kept saying "Deepika is doing forumla films, I am doing intelligent films which are commercially viable as well and I'm not just a pretty thing. People are saying WOW this girl can act and that is what I want, not just to be the glam girl" I was SO pissed!😡

But now, Sonam has nothing to say. 😉 The situation is diffferent now becauase she knows she is not in the same league as Deepika. They are cordial now because they aren't direct competition. We saw how well her intelligent yet commerically viable films Saawariya and D6 ended up😆 Also she wanted a hit so badly she signed Anees Bazmi's 'intelligent yet commercially viable' film Thank You. I read an interview in which she said that she signed it bec. she loved the way Anees presented his women and what powerful roles he gives them🤣

But with all this being said today I like Sonam...she wears good clothes, is pretty and is cute somtimes...I liked her a lot in D6 and I hope she does good work this year and another hit liked IHLS!😊 Peace Peace Sonam fans!
