Hello Maryaada Forum:

Time to kick our collective power in to gear and up the ante in terms of popularizing and spreading the word about this show that we love so much.

To start with, a couple of quick things we can all do:

1. Sport signatures that promote this show on IF. A lot of us participate in multiple forums on this website and this will help get the word out...at least among the IF junta.

For e.g. my signature has this simple line: Catch Maryaada-Lekin Kab Tak every Mon to Fri at 11.30pm on STAR Plus!

Now...I have no clue how to make siggys but am hoping some of the creative geniuses on this forum can make a few and post it on this thread for the general use of everybody. All help is welcome.

2. Like I requested previously, please join the fan clubs of the actors in the series and comment on their pages as often as you can.

Jayu, awesome post 👏..I think this is a great idea to promote the show...

For my part, I am happy to produce some promo sigs but they might have to wait till the weekend😆 due to lack of time.

You know, something that we've done in the past (in KGGK section where I was a Mod) to promote the show (even though it was well established on its own stead) was to hold a banner contest for the forum. We have such a talent of sig/avi creatives here...it would be a good way to engage the members here into participating.

Also, we might have some silent readers/lurkers around the forum and this may be a good way to draw them out 😆

Anyway, my two cents ;)

hey Jaya, thanks for coming up with this thread!! We really need to promote this serial on IF as many are not aware of this awesome serial because of the late timings!!

I am like a Maryada promoter in my office all i do is make my frds listen to the episode, all of them like it and some have even started watching as it comes here at 9 pm (we r 2&1/2 behind IST). Unfortunately overseas viewership is not counted so i made it a point to tell mom to watch it in India.😉

Vasu - signature contest is brilliant idea, talented ppl from others sections participate and this will also promote the serial! I don't know how to create banners but will surely take part in the voting process!

I don't know abt now but when i was in India two weeks back i didn't see many promos of Maryada on Star plus. The channel needs to promote the serial with frequent promotion ads so that ppl in India are aware abt the show! But i guess as TRP is not very important for this show so they highlight only the prime time shows!
