Guy i just spoke to an actor of mera naam karegi roshan i cant give the name but my source blames the channel and production house for the failure. the reasons r listed below. i am filing a story for a mumbai based mag

Sana Saeed did not know have the acting skills to stand up to a Yashpal sharma and Lubna Salim.

The scene of girl alighting her father funera pyre was too delayed . It was supposed to be from where the show takes off.

The new family did not connect with the audience( can u throw some light on change of family)

Change of lead was too late.

A girl standing up to her brother was not liked by audiances!

Do you concur with the above points?

Thanks

Not really! The main reason were the TRPs who were too low.

Ya but the TRPS are connected to the way the story is written. If the story is not good then of course the ratings are low.
In this show the lead character was very weak, to wimpy, no acting skills.
The new girl was good but was too late in the show. Should have started at the start or close to it.
Whatis wrong with a sister standing up to a bro? That is dumb,so the girl should just be a door mat to step on.😡😡😡😡
The writing of the show was horrible. Dumb storylines with no sense to them.
Keep Reet at the house all the time was crazy ..

A few more comments...
The relationship between Father and daughter was very good and different.
This should have been focused on more. How ever it got lost.😭😭😭😭😭
To much fighting with the brother.
the characters could have been stronger.

The story was awful to start off with. When I read the title Mera Naam Karegi Roshan" I expected this girl is going to do something to make her family proud. What does she do? She marries some guy for no apparent reason and lives in his family's house to be tortured by them on a daily basis and we have NO idea why she is enduring this hardship.
During the initial episodes the father's factory is burned and the brother takes away all the property etc. A proper show would have had the girl fight to regain her father's legacy but we saw NOTHING of this kind. I would have hoped to see her start from scratch and rebuild her father's company while her brother constantly trampled on these ambitions. Her father, too ill too support her, or he dies, asks this of her hence the title of the show.
I was not in the least impressed with the actress Sana Shiekh. She is one of the many prepubscent young girls who are chosen to play the lead. They barely look over the age of 16. The romance with Yaga was so miserable and dull that I would have rather watch grass grow then see a romance between these two characters. The rest of the cast had your typical stereotypical roles - the horrible sister-in-law etc. They also had nothing to do and I am not surprised they were removed from the show.
The replacement of Sana Shiekh was better but with a lousy script what could she do?
The one thing I did like is they had a Muslim female character - a rarity among most shows - but she looked she had shown up from some long lost 1960s Mere Mehboob film set with her gharah and dupatta.
I wrote to one of the creatives about the show but she failed to respond.
A good show needs to have a good script, not just an idea. Characters need to have a purpose and a value and help move the story forward. When this show started, I do not think ANYONE had ANY idea what they were doing. I am glad this show is getting pulled so that we have room for another show - hopefully one that is more interesting to watch.
And where did you get the idea or where did this person get the idea that ratings were low because a girl stood up to her brother? How about the truth that the show NEVER had a storyline or ANY direction added with some pretty horrficially bad writing.

One of the worse things about this show was the main character Reet who was played by the first actor. She could not act and all she only cried constantly. She was very weak and could not carry out the lines very well. Even her dancing on one scene was horrible.
The new Reet was much better, but by the time she came on it was too late. She started off strong and then she also started crying constantly..UGH..😡😡😡
The Thakhur character started off good and then he disappeared for weeks and weeks.
The same thing happened to the bro Kuwar. Now he is back after so long, how dumb.
Totally unhappy about the show. Poor relationships, weak scripts and ideas.....bring on some good shows with good storylines that do not insult the audience.....😆😆😆

Take back all the criticism we gave you and tell the creatives what we thought of the show. Perhaps next time they will think about what the audience wants...that was another problem...insulting our intelligence with stupid dumb scripts and storylines.

Its good that this show is ending as it seemed to be written as the story went along. No connection to the title and very disjointed thinking. No development in plots. The music was also very irritating when Jasoda spoke. Jallan and Bhisham excellent actors but their roles stifled them.
What was the point of leaving Kuwar in a coma? He was excellent in his role. What a waste to sleep throughout the story. The show wasted the good talent of many of the actors.

The show brought in actors, but they would disappear for months....example Thakhur, Kuwar, and Yag. 😭😭
Nothing has been mentioned about Yag at all.
Kuwar is back now that the show is over...that makes sense.
You are right about this show being disjointed and breaking into pieces😡
