Arushi to marry Shakti? - Article

The unexpected will take place on STAR Plus' Mann Ki Aawaz Pratigya in the near future. Pratigya has stalled her kid-sister Aarushi's wedding with Aman by exposing his truth to everyone which has brought disgrace to the Saxena family.

The protagonist reveals that Aman is already married after his wife Anu agrees to support her. Aman convinces Anu to conceal the truth from everyone and asks her to say that he is his brother and not husband to which she complies to save her marriage. The turn of events prove Pratigya wrong all over again and she ends up with a bigger problem on hand. Taking it as an insult to the family, Aman's family walks out of the marriage. Just when everybody is wondering and worrying over Aarushi's future and if she will ever get married, Pratigya's brother-in-law Shakti comes forward and announces that he is ready to marry Aarushi

Informs our source, "Pratigya knows about Aman's truth and the fact that he is already married. She decides to expose Aman with his wife Anu's help and succeeds in doing so. But Anu does a volte face at the end and fingers start pointing at Pratigya for maligning the Mathurs deliberately. The Mathurs decide to leave the wedding mandap thus leaving Aarushi stranded and her parents worried about her future. Fathoming the gravity of the situation and trying to take full advantage of it, Shakti proposes to marry Aarushi to which the family agrees as they have no other option. Pratigya yet again opposes Aarushi's marriage but to no avail. Aarushi goes ahead and marries Shakti with hatred and disrespect for her elder sister. The two sisters will now be at loggerheads on the show."

Confirming the news Aman says, "Yes, my family and I walk out of that marriage as Pratigya tries to malign us. Shakti then marries Aarushi very much against Pratigya's wish. She agrees to marry Shakti to take revenge from Pratigya. The protagonist is proved wrong when my wife Anu ties rakhi on my hand thereby rubbishing all her claims and accusations."

Apparently, initially it was decided that Aman will marry Aarushi and go the family way but sudden change in the storyline and feedback from the fans prompted the makers to alter the storyline.

With the two sisters at loggerheads, one can expect the drama to become more entertaining and gripping. Watch the drama unfold on Pratigya, Monday to Friday, 10:30 pm on STAR Plus.
