I wasn't going to write a post today but after some fresh air and the wheels turning in my brain I decided to give it a try.
Monday gave us something lesser than a filler episode. It was more like watching the activities on the sets before the scenes were actually shot. This was an episode with little content.
MONDAY MENU...........STUFFING IN A NUTSHELL
For those who are still curious about today's episode here it is in a nutshell.
Naina, Shamu and Arusia Saxes perform chorus of rona-dhona. Don't remember these sad Saxes gushing over Prats this way during her wedding? When did Arushi become "pyari pyari gudiya"? SCAM trades his white horse for horsepower in a white metal container with wheels. Nainaji rains on Komal's parade and stops her dancing with Jai after baarat arrives. Another example of what codes the Saxes live by'' do what society approves of and your moments of joy go tel lene. Prof. and IG go through rituals of greeting. KN arrives all dressed up in red looking like a dulha at Arusia's wedding bearing gifts courtesy of SS. This is to be noted. Kriya as James Baba and his ladylove Babu watch the proceedings from afar hiding behind a van waiting for Annu Mathur to show up. Marriage rituals begin and as saat pheres are in progress Prats steps forward and announces that the wedding cannot take place.
The preview shows Prats calling out to her right hand man and pati Krishna who obeys her command and steps forward with the real Mrs. Mathur. Shock registers on the faces of all Saxes and Mathurs. Does that mean bigamist SCAM gets away with his game?
Let's begin with the comment made by a "source" from the show that there were going to be a few twists and turns soon. With that in mind let's take a look.
FLASHBACKS .............FROM DAYS GONE BY
The joota maar peet''..a raging and drunken KN told Kesar he will take his revenge on Arusia in such a way no one would suspect or even know he was behind it all. He who had chosen a girl to marry but changes his mind and plays peeping-Tom on Diwali day when Arusia was changing out of her burnt saree. Since then he has been very curious about Arusia's wedding, following the developments closely and repeatedly saying SCAM was not the right man for Arusia, earning SS's wrath and warnings. But nothing seems to slow KN down this time in his plans. What are his plans? Will KN face SS's wrath?
After being told she can't bear children ever again Kesar pleaded with KN that she remains his legal wife, that he can have children with another woman. Will the turn in events finally unlock her mouth and make her take a tough stand against a sautan for her husband?
The day KN and Krishna came to blows with the sickle and gun, Krishna vowed that if they broke the law he would personally call the police and have them all arrested. Will he still do that to stop the bigamy between his brother and saali sahiba?
SS who after being humiliated by IG at the engagement vows to show him that no one gets away with humiliating Takur Sajjan Singh. He sends heavy-duty gifts to Arushi's wedding with an ulterior motive even after being uninvited to the wedding. SS insists KN delivers wedding gifts to Arusia in person, at the wedding even though KN thought the workers could get the job done. He orders KN to be present on behalf of the Takur SS family. Is SS up to something no one is aware of?
When Krishna and Prats return from the cafe SS sweet talked Kriya "let this marriage take place, however the guy, getting her maried into IG's family is a good idea.?" Was SS playing another chalaki game like the night he pretended and told Prats Krishna had returned home only to lock her up in her room?
Kriya have found the real Mrs. Mathur and brought her forward to blow the whistle on SCAM. KN gets his revenge by making Aruisa sauten to Kesar? SS gets his revenge by forcing IG to lose face in public?

EVERY CLARIFICATION BREEDS NEW QUESTIONS ~ UNKNOWN
Given what has transpired so far where do we see the twists and turns headed?
What will Kriya do if their siblings are about to break the law and marry?
If Saxes let KN/A wedding happen can they be charged with breaking the law?
Would their izzat in society matter more to Saxes than their daughter's future?
Does Arushi take Prath's path and assume it will lead to happiness for her too?
Given her brash personality can Arushi ever be a happily married woman? Is she even ready for marriage?
Will Kriya be able to stop the wedding between their siblings with help from the police?
Will Kriya take actions to annul this marriage on grounds of bigamy?
Will Arushi or KN be arrested for knowingly entering into a bigamous marriage?
How can KN legalize his marriage to Arusia valid when he already has a wife?
KN is already legally married to Kesar so will seeing Arushi as his bride finally prompt Kesar to speak up and force KN/A to annul marriage?
Does Kesar have enough trump cards up her sleeve to pin the Takurs down?
Will KN have had his revenge just marrying Arusia or will he exercise his marital rights before the marriage can be voided?
Will SS and SDS put pressure on Kesar to sign the divorce documents to get their waris?
Will SS and SDS accept Arusia as their new bahu #1 A?
Will Arusia turn into a witch and make everyone at Takurs dance to her tunes?
Will Arusia team with SDS as her apprentice in training and take her revenge on Kriya for stopping her wedding?
Will Arusia cause or force Krishna and Prats to leave Takur Niwas sooner?
Will SS also see public humiliation of IG as payback for humiliating him at the engagement?
Will Annu Mathur in her own selfish interests refuse to humiliate her in-laws in public thus winning a place in their hearts?
Will IG accept Annu Mathur as his bahu # 2?
Did SS/KN find out about SCAM's wife and offered her incentives to keep quiet at the wedding by asking her to back out at the last minute from ratting on SCAM after Krishna spilled inadvertently told his family about SCAM's double-dipping plans?
PARDON ME FOR THINKING OUT LOUD:š²
Since when did Kriya become the sideshow and Arusia the central character? Since Arusia's stay at the Niwas the stories have revolved around her in recent months much longer than Kesar or KN or even Adarsh and Komal's marriage. Several interesting storylines have been on the back burner or maybe even dropped to bring Arusia's life story to the viewers. Why Arusia? Her story is not an interesting one nor are the viewers impressed by her performance to date. Her path to matrimony is one of desperation and rife with ineligible men. What is the rush to tell her story when the girl is ill prepared for marriage at this point? What happened to the Saxes motto of education is the path to all greatness. Dont' they want Arusia to complete her education? She excels at playing the "I know it all" loudmouth girl and little else. Why put her on center stage before she is ready to give an acceptable performance? Are they giving her plenty of airtime to get audiences to warm up to a not so likeable character?
We have Komal and Adarsh who have been married as long as Kriya but their story has been put on a tum-tum going nowhere, just spinning their wheels in place. Their story began long before Arusia's road to marriage. Why have they been sidelined? The best way to describe their story was best depicted today when Adarsh tried very hard to turn his tum-tum around and get back inside. Is Adarsh a quadrupelegic now? He has been left sitting going nowhere. Why not focus on that marriage for a change? Their story is a filler while other tracks are moving along? There is more viewer interest in their story..
With parents like Sad Saxes who put their social standing above all else who needs enemies? Adarsh is following in his father's footsteps afraid to take any steps to make his marriage work. What is he waiting for''..Komal to become another Rolli? Ain't going to happen. He married Komal of his free will and against Krishna's warning that his marriage will be hell if he married his sister. But he didn't listen. Today Komal is happy to dance with Jai and doesn't seem to care much as long as she gets to do what makes her happy. And why shouldn't she? As she pointed out to the Saxes often, they are just plain miserable and can't stomach seeing anyone happy. Happiness is a mere word, a way of life foreign to the Saxes. With the fear that fills their minds and hearts is there any room for happiness left in them?
If IG Mathur leaves the wedding trying to keep his izzat and not get to the heart of the mystery woman by questioning her will he fail in his duty, that he values more than his family? Will he have to give up his title of Duty Diwakar? Wouldn't he want to get to the truth instead of covering up his son's double life?
Today's episode, precap and promo has led many of us ready to throw in the towel and say adios. But after reflecting for a while, I am choosing to give POPs the benefit of the doubt for now and see, what the many twists and turns they hint at, are all about. Sounds like a race on hairpin bends that could leave us feeling nauseous and dizzy. Will POPs win their loyal viewers who are all packed and ready to walk out or do they care about that anymore? How did a show that won the hearts of viewers everywhere almost a year ago right out of the gates suddenly morph into one that we often can't recognize anymore? With the first anniversary of the show coming up in two weeks, is it going to be a time for celebration or cause a mass exodus of viewers going in search of newer shows?
Please think out loud and post your comments too.ššš
