I don't feel sorry for the parents. Manav tried to warn them about Jaywant but they didn't listen, suddenly a stranger word meant more to them than a man they came to love as a son. Then there is Manav's family, well specifically his mom who saw his pain yet was determined to make this marriage happen. She even went as far as to talk to Manav about his suhaag raat, this coming from the same woman who wouldn't let him have a suhaag raat with his then wife Archana. She is consumed by greed.

As for Satish, agreed he could have handled things differently but I don't blame him for making an impulsive choice knowing what was at stake here.
