Madhur ... why didn't you try and stop Ranvijay?

A crying Rekha runs from an anguished Madhur's arms straight into her bedroom. 😲

Shortly afterwards, a very drunk Ranvijay follows her into the bedroom after shaking a finger at Madhur.😡

And then we hear Rekha's agonised screams as an angry Ranvijay gives her a beating - slap! smack! thump! wallop! clout!😡

Madhur is standing outside, listening, then he glares at Suman and walks away.😡😡😡

My dear Madhur, when somebody is getting a beating you try and stop that person (whether it be a man or a woman). I thought you would break down the door as Ranvijay is beating Rekha.

If you can't stop it yourself, go get somebody. If Loha was not around, you should have got Sumitra, or Shekhar, or Laali. Everyone's yelling and shouting would have stopped Ranvijay!

Why did you just walk away? I thought you loved Rekha!!!

In any house, if such an incident takes place, it is imperative for other members of the family to stop it from going further.

Madhur ... you failed in your duty.

😭Madhur is a weak male character who is used like a puppet and goes along with whatever the elderly tell him to do. Why did he get married to Suman? Could he not use his own mind for that?

Why does he not do something about Suman's behavior?

If he really loves Rekha how can he let another man lay a hand on her by beating her to a pulp??

What kind of man does that??? A weak man who can not stand up for himself and just takes the crap dished out to him and the people he loves.

I am really disappointed in him because I thought he was more compassionate and had more respect for women. Look at what he let happened to Rekha......the girl needs to find someone stronger man than Madhur....but then look at her behavior with Ranjavi...she isn't any better allowing him to get away with his beating...

In this show it always seems that when a person is getting hurt no one wants to step in and help the person. Look at Laali when she was tied up by the Mahant and many other examples we can think of. The people act helpless and paralysised. Sigh....

Madhur was disappointing today, he should've protected Rekha. He needs to fight for her, he also needs to put sense into her head. I hated the way she defended Ranvijay, she needs to stop defending him and Suman. Both Ranvijay and Suman deserve whatever punishment comes their way

This episode of Madhur-Rekha-Ranvijay was poorly portrayed. Loha should have been seen to have gone out (so that he remains unaware of the beating incident as potential voters arrive at his house next day.)

In the meanwhile, everyone including Sumitra, Shekhar, Laali, Madhur should have been seen trying to stop Ranvijay.

Next day, the womenfolk should have got their revenge by sending a badly bruised and beaten up Rekha in front of the visitors to show up Loha and Ranvijay in a bad light.

😉From another point of view, Madhur may not have wanted to step into a husband and wife fight
It also showed that many times people see such things going on in their houses and yet nobody dares or has the courage to stop it.

why didn't madhur scold suman or slap her? the girl needs to be slapped for the second time😳 why was he just standing there and staring at her he could have given her a slap oh well better luck next time

It is a shame that no one helped Rekha. Someone in that house must have heard all the loud noises that Rekha made as Ranjavi hit her, but no one came to her rescue.

Perhaps they were in a part of a house where they could not hear the noise,but Madhur saw Rekha going into the room, so why did he not do anything.

I think sometimes Madhur is scaried of Ranjavi and Loha.

Someone should have brought Rekha out to all the people Loha was talking to and explained to them what Ranjavi had done and was capbable of.

So True..Why he din't..I was scared if ranvijay gonna attempt to rape her..what if he did so..Madhur din't bothered,,,

Even he din't Scold Suman also..Why??

I was jsut thinking both the sisters Life has been Ruin by thakursin haveli..but laali is bit lucky there to have Shekhar support in all the way..

But Poor girl rekha..For her situation is like "Ithar kua uthar khai"..
Where to go..noone deserve her...Even Madhur is also not strong to satnd for her all the time..
and her hubby abuse and hurt her like anything..She has just nice Mother-in law..Siter or Sister in law(Both is same😆)..and her jijaji....I mean madhur could stop it but he just
left..hes really weak in hes love...I wish he could be more angry on this
Pathetic situation of girl whom he claims he loves most..

yes he speak out next day..but his reaction should be more stronger toward Ranvijay as well Suman.....Look how badly rekha was inured.. ..he should scold his wife as well..
say something to ranvijay as well..But must say Madhur charater made
so weak day by day cv's..

Instead of helping Madhur just stands there and acts like a jerk for not helping Rekha. This behavior is unacceptable. People are so afraid to get involved....😡😡😡😡 What if Rekha had been killed with Ranjavi's hands???😡😡

to be honest, this is why i don't watch the show anymore. sometimes i look in on the write ups and get confirmed why i don't watch it. who wants to watch at serial where all the women are being abused and that's basically the story line ????????????? no thanks. pretty sick if you ask me.

to be honest, this is why i don't watch the show anymore. sometimes i look in on the write ups and get confirmed why i don't watch it. who wants to watch at serial where all the women are being abused and that's basically the story line ????????????? no thanks. pretty sick if you ask me.

Naava ... domestic violence is a fact of life. Very few TV serials have raised this issue and in such graphic details. It is no use seeing just nice, nice serial which has nothing in it and does nothing for you.. Raising such issues helps to highlight the problems and bring about changes. An example is Charles Dickens book Oliver Twist. Read my earlier post, Ranvijay beats Rekha black and blue! where I raise the issue of domestic violence.
