Aishwarya has to be the most villified actor in Bollywood's history ever! Atleast, as far as the media is concerned!

Though I have always admired her silent dignity on most personal matters, sometimes the same silence becomes very irritating! She never ever defends herself in public!

Or maybe, as someone wisely remarked, Ash realizes that her situation is one where she is damned either ways!

even when she tried to ppl said she fights for such petty things! But she said in an interview that it's so much easier to shout on top of rooftops and tell the whole world your problem, but it takes more strength to be silent and endure whatever comes your way! I respect and admire that about her! I guess it's better she's silent, b/c the minute she says something she doesn't like...the name-calling begins..as a fan I rather she be called boring than a b****!!

The only reason she has to promote AR in the Diwali show it b/c she's contractual bounded! Also...she's not wandering around international shows for NO reason...ppl overseas are intrigued by her and her life...that's why she's there! In most of her interviews...they ask more personal questions and questions about Indian culture/films than about the film she was suppose to be promoting! And Zee Diwali show pulled in some good trps and I like that's she'll be on MC so she can interact with the average folks..I liked in the promo that hugged that girl all motherly and stuff...his hands on her head!! And movies flopping has nothing to do w/promotion...Ravaana premiered overseas so yeah ppl were excited and wanted to know more and Mani ratnam's work is appreciated overseas...hence he got the venice film award for ravaana!
