i like what you said.. i just started watching maryaada and saw all episodes today.. very good show..

women do have the right to party and uttara is that rebel.. thats why i like her so much.. kamya is doin an amazing job portraying her..
there are many times wehere all of us question our family cultures(especially the ones raised abroad) but after watching this i am VERY thankful.. in my house, nobody is allowed to drink.. not women.. not men.. my parents have kept it equal.. if my brother can do it so can i and vice versa...

just one question tho.. how old is sweetie? i mean is she legal or not? or isnt there a legal age in india?

Well said (in bold), the same goes for my family. Although we are semi conservative when it comes to religion we are almost left liberals in terms of societal norms. Everyone pretty much lives up to my grandfather's (nana ji's) two rules/saying/advices "Aim to be a good human being and forget about what anyone else says." 2nd "Don't do anything that you have to hide or lie about. If you do then assume it's wrong, otherwise speak your mind, everyone will listen."

Uttara is also one of my favorite's in the show, I love the rebel in her. She's a rebel because she is tired of all the male dominating crap and doesn't really care anymore. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
