Hey Aparna i believe u will right person for tips on debates n carry a tpoic for suitable conclusions
Their are many people who have ample of money but still they work for fame ..what do they get end of the day !! do they really achieve or need a false social status via fame !!
i think you are looking at the issue with prejudiced eyes....firstly what is wrong with desiring fame...it is not achieving a social status perse(money will ensure that you have social status already)...everyone requires a little(....or more) affirmation of the person he is, from his peers, family and society. look at it this way...if you had a chance ..would you not like to have people quote your example to thier kids as an exemplary human.
academically speaking...every human being has a few needs in life...fame ranks at top levels along with self affirmation.people work for fame becoz they look at it as a proof of thier capability of overreaching themselves and being best. while money can buy you anything ...it cannot buy you the ego satisfaction of being appreciated for something you achieved with hard work.
however a problem arises when people use infamous ways to become famous or look at being famous as a ticket to life of luxury and shy away from hard work.
