Diwali dhamaka with Big B and the stars
TNN, Jan 11, 2010, 12.00am ISTIt's Diwali and everyone's in the mood to celebrate. Kaun Banega Crorepati is going to have a star-studded special week this Diwali.
Starting November 1 from laughter riots to blasts from the past, from drama queens to the shining stars of the Commonwealth Games, watch Amitabh Bachchan and KBC in all its grandeur.
Starting off the festivities with a retro twist is Akshay Kumar who will share the hot seat with his team from his upcoming Action Replayy. Tuesday's episode presents India Ki Shaan where the super six who made India proud ? Leander Paes (tennis), Sushil Kumar (wrestler), Manoj Kumar (wrestler), Jwala Gutta (badminton), Sreesanth (cricketer), and Ashwini Ponnapaa (badminton) will take the hot seat.
And how can the drama on small screen be complete without the famous television bahus? Ragini Khanna, Pooja Gor, Bharti Singh, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Aashka Goradia and Disha Wakani will be playing Kaun Banega Crorepati or shall we say Kaun Banegi Crorepatni?
The, the Golmaal 3 gang ? Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Rohit Shetty, and Shreyas Talpade will keep viewers in splits with their hilarious and witty retorts on the show.
The cherry on the icing is, of course, none other than Bachchan himself grooving to Zor ka Jhatkaa from Action Replayy.
And in every special episode, a team of six contestants will play for a special cause and donate the winning amount for charity.
