We were talking about Pager in another thread...so remembered one old serial 'Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh'. It had Vivek Vaswani and Smita Jayakar and another very famous comedian as Smita's brother. It used to come on DD2 I think. Anyone remembers?

Why I remembered this on the mention of pager was because this brother pesters his brother-in-law (Vivek Vaswani) to buy him a pager. And he answers a contest question and sits and waits for the contest result on his pager. And something goes wrong with it.

Yes I remember this series, Vivek Vaswani, Smita Jaykar and Shammiji were the main cast. I remember the episode when Vivek has sent an entry for a contest and waiting a ticket to the World Tour and he actually wins a book with that name

Does anyone remember Mr Shafi Inamdaar. I used to like him a lot. He left in 1996. At that time he was doing a show with Swaroop Sampat Rawal (played his wife) and Lakshmikant Berde (played his bother in law) on DD. After he passed away Satish Shah took up that part. I can't recollect the name does anyone recollect.

Swaroop Sampat se yaad aaya, there used to be a show aired in the afternoon on DD where she and Annu Kapoor played a married couple. The name of the show was Shrimatiji or Deviji, something like that.

There was another show whose center point was an expensive necklace, it had Kiron Kher, Saeed Jaffrey, Anu Agarwal (i think this was before her film Ashiqui released), anyone recollects?

Remember Jayant Kriplani?? He was one of my favorites. I was so thrilled to see him in JTYJN.

Remember Jalal Agah?? He passed away in 1995, I think. At that time he was going a show on DD Metro (I think) with Moushami Chattergi. The name was Chulbuli or Manchali, something like that. If I am not wrong he was Producer or Director or both of the show and after his sudden demise, the show was taken off after sometime

There is another show I remember. It came after Shrimaan Shrimati in which Archana Puran Singh and Rakesh Bedi played a married couple again. I think this show was directed by Archana, but I can't recollect the name. This was for DD, then there was another show I think on Star Plus now sure which was directed by Archana and had Akshay Anand playing her neighbor.

Hey Prabha di I remebered shai inmdar and Swarup sampats that seral bt cant remberd the name.Shafi inamadar is hsband of Bakti Burvey she was veternal Marthi Actress also acted in some Hoindi flim like jane bhi do yaro...most of the Sai parajpe's Flim.I think Shafi and Swaroop also acted in 2 more serails sed to air on Zee tv and dd metro during 1994-96.after 97 shafi died de to heart attack and then Satisha shaha took the plce of shafi.
