Music music music.
I think we call all admit that one of the best things about our southern movies is the music.
And what makes those songs even more irresistible are the lyrics, even the ones you never really know.

So this week's 'Game of the Week' is a combination of the popular "Don't Forget the Lyrics" game show and India's national pastime- Antakshari.

How to Play:
I'll start us off with the lyrics to a song, ending halfway through the line/verse.
The Next person must finish the rest of the line/verse, and sing the next one too.
After that [this is the Antakashari part] they must start another set of lyrics, but the verses first word must start with the last letter of the last word.

Rules/Exceptions:

  1. All southern songs are fair game [Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada]
  2. You can use Google 😆 [not everyone here listens to all the same songs so to help the game keep moving and keep it fun.]
  3. Try not to use the same songs over and over
  4. You can state the name of the movie with your lyrics [to cut the players some slack]
Example:

Lyrics:

Anwar [Malayalam]

Kanninima Neele Minni Thiri Pole Ente Manasake
Munnilanayum En Priyanude Cheru Chiri Ithal Oru Pularoli Ala Vitharukayo
Kanninima Neele Minni

The next person would reply:

Thiri Pole Ente Manasake
Eee Nanavumai Koode Oh Poru Thirakale

Then they set down a new set of lyrics, beginning with the letter "E"

Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kastam:

epudu chudani lokame edurochenu kada ichate
oooo e kshaname sambaram
e kshaname saswatam e kshaname jivitam
telisindi e kshanam
maonam karigene matalu suryudi endalo
sneham dorikene mabulla chandrudi needalo
praanam pongene gelupuna

HAVE FUN!
