you should not forget that he was from very small village on gujarat......and in remote place of city like in small villages and even in big cities governement schools ..and many private school also teach in only mother tongue.....so his education might have done completely in gujurati.....so he does not know meaning of vacuum is very natural....in india only few people in big city speak english my dear......Originally posted by: padindoo

I think everyone there talk a lillte bit too much........their concentration is more on admiring and praising AB, than answering the questions!!!!!!

Even if he was educated in Gujarati or any other language. And even though on the screen they show the question in English, Amitabh usually translates them in Hindi. Since he knows Hindi, I thought the only reason he didn't know the answer was probably because he didn't know the concept itself. A teacher is expected to know these things.
