you should not forget that he was from very small village on gujarat......and in remote place of city like in small villages and even in big cities governement schools ..and many private school also teach in only mother tongue.....so his education might have done completely in gujurati.....so he does not know meaning of vacuum is very natural....in india only few people in big city speak english my dear......
i myself.....when came to my new country could not speak english at all.........though i was diploma in computer....but i am not ashamed of it...
don't take personally ..........but i am proud of it.....at least i am proud i can speak my mother tongue and my national language......not like few....indian living in india who struggle with their own language......and proficient in someone else's language.......
so don't bless those kids who are studying under him....because he must be teaching them in gujurati....and look at his knowledge...he won.....25lacs and if he would have attended that 50lac one question he would have won that tooo
this post is not only for you ..........but many more who thinks...not knowing english is .....something inferior........
and please don't feel offended....its not my intention.....but because of this mentality i have been through many insults.........

I loved the woman yesterday 😆 .

Her confidence had to be appreciated. Big B himself was amused at this lady. 😆

Hi I am not taking it personally so don't worry. I understand your view. In fact I am not from a big city myself. I know a lot of people who were educated in other languages. I respect them and I am not the person with the 'mentality' you are referring to.
But my post was because I was not sure whether this teacher was the same person who got that question, because I would think a teacher would understand the concept of vacuum. Even if he was educated in Gujarati or any other language. And even though on the screen they show the question in English, Amitabh usually translates them in Hindi. Since he knows Hindi, I thought the only reason he didn't know the answer was probably because he didn't know the concept itself. A teacher is expected to know these things. So I was surprised, thats all.
Btw, I wrongly pressed "report" instead of "quote" the first time I tried to post this reply. I do not know how to cancel the "report". Sorry about that.

its ok i understand dear and i am also sorry i actually over reacted because it touched some sensitve part...i hope you understand what i mean.....so i am also sorry
and yaa big b always translate all questions but i was also felt strange when for this specific questions he did not translate...till answer was given right.....i think he forgot to do so or he was looking for hindi word for vacuum because its difficult to find one....and because of time limit it was too late....but now from that onwards i think big b understood because vanraj could not understand the meaning of word he could nto answer otherwise he would have answered he is now translating before giving option.......if you mark that change......
SAYNOTOSPAM ya that woman appear as very JAGDALOO kind of....the way she was talking....and her about fight with neighbour was really funny..........and did you see her husband's face when she lost....and gave wrong answer....
and even when anraj did phone a friend he could nto pronounce those english words.....he asked big b to do so....

hi..
let me tell u one incident....thr was this quiz competition ina college in one of the metro cities. it was a big inter-university quiz competition.... one of the questions asked was the same question vanraj was asked, about vacuum....
you know what one of the teams answered it wrong n it was passed to the next team...whn quiz master asked the team how come they coudnt answer the qn... they told him that they studied this in their 10th class or so...n they dont remember about sound n its properties......
what to do..these things do happen.... its shocking...but happns!
and vanraj evidently dint understand the word "vaccuum"..othrwise , i think he would have answered...
