Hmm something is missing , but a 8/10

This is a killer track, and this takes singing to a new level altogether.
Kailash at his best. Dont expect anything short of fireworks after hearing this one.

The high point of this track-going from high to higher notes and at the same time modulating your voice and adding expressions to get that feel depicting the mood of the track-that can give you goosebumps. Its brutal. One breath, and then doing three things in one is not something that every singer tries. Its an experiment, and wha a jolly good result it has on the end listener.

The background tune is very simple, minimal and superb and hummable. And its the best part-keeping things simple and optimal-call it back to basics. The middle portion with the echo effect and superb backup chorus gives it added feeling. And what better use of all your classical training by adding those superb harkats at the end while going one scale down and changing your tone? Superb is just an understatement.

Besides the tonal quality, the tempo is also quite energetic and takes the difficulty level to altogether new high. Its challenging yet enjoyable to sing this track. This is the beauty of Indian music-experimentation with different permutations and combinations of scale, tempo and voice and this track is equally refreshing. Should qualify for a modern cult status. And its a hit too.

Giving it less than a 10 would be an insult. Its far more worthy than that.

too good job done by the mentor in the song selection as there are many hits of him and which one to choose soo its awesome selection

the song feeling is lovely i liked the song the most KK ia the best in making his voice throw the bit to get the feeling soo too good

Wouldn't it have been wiser to use this song when you needed it?


I'm actually glad somone999 is using all the good songs for her singers early, it will make it that much easier for other singers later. I mean, we all will need a singing performance that would get us 9s and 10s later. Just 1 less of them for Kailash Kher to use now. I mean, I would understand if he hadn't done good already and you just wanted to use a really good one in that case, but that's not the case here as he had a strong round last time too.

Luv this song so much. But I m more hooked to Atif version. Although I have heard this one several times too.

I love this song. Its so beautiful and the lyrics are amazing! <3 BUT BUT BUT I felt that Kalish ji's voice didn't suit the song. The way its written and the music it has I feel like a better voice could have sung it like Udit ji or Sonu ji...I dunno. I didn't really connect with his voice as much as I should have. Something was lacking. =/

Great singing!



Excellent feel and overall singing by Kailash Kher once again. His harkats, taans, and high pitches were all very good.


With excellent expressions, harkats, taans, singing ability display, and a strong finish, it has all the ingredients for a 10. The only that keeps it away was kind of what CPR said, I think this song could've had better voice quality and his voice just didn't really match the song.

But still great!
