SR have had their moments, moments that speak a thousand words, moments that transcend beyond any social/legal institution like marriage, moments when ridhima has actually looked at sid as a
companion, and not as a husband, moments that have been spontaneous and endearing, and moments when ridhima didn't think about her duty as a wife.
they may not be in love; but they share everything else that defines a relationship - trust, honesty, faith, respect, reliability and comfort. ridhima can trust sid blindly, words don't have to be exchanged to make the intention known. whenever she is upset, sid is the wall she can fall back on without having the fear of falling down. they make each other feel safe, which is very important for any relationship to work. and maybe even ridhima knows that she won't get a partner as wonderful as sid, she won't get a man who is as trustworthy as sid, and lastly, she won't get a person can inspire faith in her as strongly as sid can.
sometimes when they're together, and sid calms ridhima down by saying just two words, 'I understand', you wonder if this isn't love, then what is? love for me isn't defined by earth-shattering moments, it is defined by simple moments full of earth-shattering emotions. and that is exactly what SR reflect.
it's ironic, SR share everything but love, and AR share nothing but love. what kind of a relationship should a woman choose?
trust and faith do not grow out of love. love grows out of trust and faith. I think that answers the above question.
song that's perfect for SR:
