Week Three dawned with the most dangerous stunt of this season. And that's meant literally. It really was quite terrifying. The second stunt was a relatively easier but tricky one. Here's my round up, in random order. 😊
Stunt Sixteen
Take a very angry bull, place a strange, unfamiliar man on top of it, and let the bull lose. And what you get is nine desperate men clinging on for dear life, falling with a crash and then running to the fence equally desperately. Very on-the-edge stunt. And very, very difficult. You can tell by the timings. The longest anyone stayed on one of those was just above 6 seconds. Freaky, eh?
Ritwik Bhattacharya...Volunteered to go first, and did the best too! His bull seemed a little less fanatic than the rest though, somehow. But that's a relative value. It was pretty freaky as it was. And he managed to stay on for those six seconds, earning the safety band. Well done!
Manjot Singh...Another safety band worthy performance, this one. Nice!
Rahul Bose...His bull entered the ring with a frantic twist. Bt Bose clung on for a full 3 seconds before the fall. Safety Band!
Dino Morea...Oh my. Did well, but the bull nearly trampled the guy after he fell. Really scary, to be honest. Glad he got a Safety Band.
Shabbir Ahluwalia...Another freaky one. Rammed straight into the railings by his bull. Did well, though. Safety Band, again!
Cyrus Broacha...I was disappointed that he didn't even attempt the stunt. Sad.
Karan Singh Grover, Terrence Lewis, Milind Soman, Abhishek Kapoor...Well tried, all, but not good enough for a Safety Band.
Stunt Seventeen
This was an interesting stunt, straightforward in terms of what needed to be done, but with tweaks here and there to make it tougher. The worst part was the force of the water, added with two jet sprays to make it harder to push against. And also, the middle tunnel that only one contender got right. Like PC said, it was the toughest part, and was therefore worth three flags instead of just the one detachable from every other buoy.
Terrence Lewis...Loved the fact that he didn't give up without a fight. Gave the middle tunnel two very good attempts, but couldn't get those three flags out. Got all the others and did well. Good job!
Milind Soman...The man was ill, and he looked it. The fact that he attempted the stunt at all was quite commendable. He went a bit slow and steady, but managed it nevertheless. Gave the middle tunnel one very short try, but I suppose it's kind of understandable. Not bad at all.
Cyrus Broacha...Oh boy. He tried, but his indecision really cost him. Going up, coming down, standing in one place, going up again...and on top of that the two-minute penalty for not doing the bull stunt. Managed just three flags, and that too with a lot of difficulty. Well, at least he tried. Fair elimination.
Abhishek Kapoor...Went pretty fast, and did pretty well too. Got all the flags except those in the tunnel, and in good time. Niiice!
Karan Singh Grover...The only contender who managed to get those three flags out of the tunnel, with two good attempts. Took a while to get through the whole stunt, but did really well with it. The only one to get all the flags, rightly dubbed the best performer of this stunt. Good job, dude!
Whopper of the Day : The first stunt. Really makes your jaw drop. Every single time. 😲
Shocker of the Day : What the bull nearly did to Dino. Yikes.
Pat on the Back of the Day : Ritwik and Manjot in the first stunt, Karan in the second stunt. Nicely done, gentlemen! 👍🏼
Tomorrow's that Ghumri Talaiya stunt, along with the ice-box one. Terrence and his partner in the second stunt looked terrified, stuck in all that ice, unable to reach for the lever. Let's see how things go...😳
That's about it for today. Would love to know what you guys thought too!
Cheers! 😃
