Hey guyz I need help

in today's episode just before Geet leaves the conference room

she said that even when key is right near you- there are some locks that can't be unlocked
chabi itni kareeb hokha bhi hum chakar bhi kuch tala khol nahi saktha'

and then Maan looked shocked

I didn't get what that meant- what was she trying to say?

yeah I did not get that as well
at first I didn't hear it clearly and thought she said something else
I don't understand what that meant as well

I thought she meant that even when the key to happiness is so nearby you can't get access to it (because of her past)
so I'm guessing the key is Maan

I think she expected him to say something other than what he did say....Mujhe laga ki tum sirf meri ho....

For Geet, it was an expression of her innermost pain that she had to deal with all on her own..sacrificing her family and almost her life.

So, when she revealed this most painful part of her life to the man she loves and one whom she thought would understand, all he had to say was the above line....

Geet Probably felt that he was being insensitive to her pain and is thinking only about his pain....that, all Maan understood was that Geet loved someone else before him.....

Poor Maan must have been thinking out loud without realising he actually said those words...for which he felt bad...that's why he was running around like a headless chicken wanting to talk to her and apologise to her not only for not listening to her earlier but also for his last remark that made him sound like a selfish MCP...
