i know it sounds weird but a little bit of "taking inspiration2 doesnt matter much i think, coy there r lots of Indian people, who r interested in dance but who do not watch or get to watch international shows, some who can learn better from Indian desis. after all there r only a few original steps in the world and everything else is a mix and much.
I dont think copying makes our dancers any less, coz copying them properly also requires skill and talent and practise. when someone out in west tries our traditional dances we dont say they r copying our dance steps. Michael's famous moonwalk, so many people copy it everyday , in everypart of the world, that doesnt make it look like its being copied, it is simply learning the standard form. if this guy is ultimate, then whatever he has done is like learning material for aspiring dancers.i mean, in software for example, some one writes some code which is more efficient and lots of people use that code for their working, we dont call that copy. there is a very thin margin between whether it is right or wrong i think. this dude is awesome, have to go home and watch him on internet . but prince was also verygood. as for me, i wouldn't have taken an interest in the standard or " original" if i hadnt seen the derviation or the "copy".
