The much-delayed Govinda and Priyanka Chopra starrer Junoon -The Madness of Love, is finally set for a Diwali release this year.
The film will see a slimmer Govinda who had shed 10 kgs when he made his comeback to the industry. Even Priyanka looks very different in the movie. The film has been five years in the making and has been written and directed by K.C. Bokadia.
The story is about Govinda who is an easygoing person till Priyanka comes into his life. He wants to win her love but keeps making mistakes. In order to impress her, he starts lying.
Bokadia is confident despite the time lapse, because, both Govinda and Priyanka, look ravishing. "In fact Govinda's new avatar where he has shed 10 kgs especially for this film increases his appeal. The film is a romantic comedy and it has been shot in Jodhpur, Nepal, Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Mumbai. I am sure the audience will enjoy the film," claims Bokadia.

September 11, 2010, (Sawf News) - K.C. Bokadia helmed and penned romcom Junoon -The Madness of Love, headlining Govinda and Priyanka Chopra, is scheduled for a Diwali release.
The film was made 5 years ago, when Govinda made his come back, and Priyanka was comparatively new.
In the film, Govinda plays an easy going person, whose life changes when a girl (Priyanka) enters his life. In order to woo her he makes repeated mistakes, creating hilarious situations. He begins to tell lies just to impress her.
Bokadia is not worried about the dated looks of the film's two leading stars.
