I don't know about rest but I took no offense on what you said.........everyone has a right to their own opinion. I think the discussion turned into a debate..........that is where the lost of interest came in. Well I respect you for your opinion. I guess Shravni place in everyones minds is at different level depending on what you give more weight to. Moral values, good nature, good deeds, situations or humanity. What is more important to you is how we will find fault in all three characters. If Moral values matter more to you, u might find Shravni at fault. If situations matter more to you then you might find Manav at fault. If you find, good nature at fault then u might find Archu at fault. So it all depends on your own POV in life to judge which of the three is more responsible for this whole situation and is any one of them worthy to be given a benefit of the doubt.

Shravani simply doesn't have any chance to win Manav's heart, no matter what she does for Manav or his family, simply because Manav is not ready to forget Archana, his first love. There are two obstacles for Shravani ' one that Manav already is in love with Archana and second that she was Sachin's fiance and is mother of his child. Archana has set very high standards with her behaviour, love, compassion, sacrifice, selflessness, loyalty that it is impossible for any other woman to measure up to her in an effort to take her place in Manav's heart. Whatever is mentioned in laundry list in original post is mostly outcome of Shravani's hatred and intolerance towards Archana. She is unable to accept Archana's appreciation from Manav, Savita or Damodar. She refuses to acknowledge Archana's sacrifices till date. And Archana's only major crime is that she is Manav's first wife and his love.

Shravani has total disregard for Archana's pain and suffering. She laid a guilt trip on Archana in an effort to force her to marry Jay just so that she can get married to Manav. It didn't matter to her that Archana will be miserable in forced marriage, that Archana had already done enough sacrifice for her. What inference can you take out from this behaviour of Shravani. She is so self-centered that she can stoop to any level to get what she wants, no matter how many hearts she breaks.

As far as Shravani's efforts of trying to be good DIL is concerned, she is trying to adjust herself to a life that she chose for herself. And doing cooking, cleaning, travelling in public transits and behaving in a decent manner with family members is the least she can do in return of monumental sacrifice of happiness that Manav made for her and open heart that Deshmukhs showed by ignoring society and welcoming her in their house and lives.
