If not for one of her movies among the many flops i.e jab we met would not had been a hit, her career would had been almost over. 3 idiots being a huge blockbuster also helped her otherwise she already had 2 flops , kurbaan and Kambakth ishq.

Again its not easy to say that hits and flops have never affected Kareena. We all know in

the film industry that you are only good as per your last film. If kareena continues to give flops producers will hesitate to sign her. Likewise if she gives out hits it will be vice versa.

Don't forget Tashan and MAMK. - both of them were disasters.

She has recently starred in the biggest blockbuster of all time, she has critical acclaim with performances like Kurbaan, her main competitors have even a lower hit ratio than her... the only one whose boxoffice success cannot be challenged in actresses these days is Katrina but she lags behind in acting department.. so I don't see a rocky path for kareena.. and all the new actresses that have come out in recent years simply lack the acting prowess to shake Kareena and Priyanka at this point.. so Pri and Bebo are sorta lucky.. and that is why they are expermenting with their roles.. both still look fresh and both seem unchallenged at this point.

So did it flop yet? 😳

It does not matter who outshone whom, I always knew this movie wouldn't open big or generate as much hype. Indian audience are very familiar with Miss Overpaid Roberts' work thanks to her Pretty Women, Runaway Bride, Steel Magnolia roles. It goes without saying most have already watched Step Mom, why would they waste money on a Karan Johar remake which is going to be hell of a lot sappier than the original one. As if the original one wasn't enough of a tearjerker.
