Most Searched Bollywood Actresses on internet
In the last few years, like any other industry, even our film industry has come to recognize the importance of the web or the online space as a medium to create awareness and determine popularity. As the power of the web is growing with each passing day, we at Bollywoodhungama.com conducted a unique study to determine the most searched or looked up for actor / actress on the internet. The study was conducted using Google trends and data for the last 3 years has been arrived at in terms of the Top 5 Actors and Actresses who are most looked up for in the digital space. In the first part of this two part series, we bring you the results of the survey among the top actresses of B-town. The results range from amusing to shocking to say the least and this could well prove to be an eye-opener for industrywallahs in the days to come while casting for their films.

Kareena Kapoor 0.54 Tashan, Roadside Romeo, Golmaal Returns
Priyanka Chopra 0.39 Love Story 2050, God Tussi Great Ho, Drona, Fashion, Dostana,Chamku,

Aishwarya started the year on top courtesy Jodhaa Akbar and even had a decent run with Sarkar Raj towards the middle of the year. However, in the second half of the year, Katrina overtook her completely courtesy the blockbuster Singh Is Kinng and went on to the No.1 spot. Surprisingly, Priyanka Chopra despite having 6 big releases was placed at No. 4 in terms of most searched celebrities on Google. She only showed a slight escalation in the last quarter courtesy her two big hits Dostana and Fashion. In spite of this, Kareena was above Priyanka at No.3. Deepika meanwhile pretty much remained at the bottom and had only one release in Bachna Ae Haseeno.
Country-wise
While Katrina is the most searched celebrity across all major markets like Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, in Pakistan it is Kareena Kapoor who comes at 2nd spot overtaking Aishwarya Rai as the most searched female celebrity.
