Anil kept Madhuri away from me: Aamir Khan

It was a wonderful moment when actors Aamir Khan and Anil Kapoor came together at the mahurat of the film Double Dhamaal. Both actors have worked closely with director Indra Kumar and producer Ashok Thakeria, who inturn were celebrating 25 successful years as business partners!

While Aamir has worked in them in movies like Dil and Mann, Anil has worked with them in Beta. When Aamir was asked how it was working with Madhuri Dixit, he was quick to say, "She's a fantastic actress. And I wonder why I never worked with her ever again. In fact, I think even Anil has done very few movies with her."

To this Anil cattily replied, "Yes, only thirteen or fourteen!" Aamir was taken aback. And retorted, "Now, I know why Madhuri did only one movie with me. Anil kept her away from me. In fact, he hardly gave her a chance to work with anyone else." Of course, there was much laughter that followed... but guess who had the last laugh in this one - Madhuri, of course!
