An unwelcome remark by a contestant on Aishwarya Rai had Salman Khan completely stumped. But he covered up just in time
If Katrina Kaif crying over him weren't enough, Salman recently had another, rather uncomfortable tryst with his past. The incident made it very clear that though Salman might have had his share of relationships, his affair with Aishwarya Rai is still the most talked about.Recently, Salman went as a special guest to the sets of a reality show and complimented one of the contestants on singing very well. In return however, the contestant said something that made the actor squirm.
Our source from the sets said, "It was a Salman Khan special episode. Shreyasi, a Kolkata-based singer, sang the title track of Hum Dil Chuke Sanam quite well. After her performance she spoke her heart out to Salman, saying that she loved the movie and had watched it many times.

Salman apparently didn't know how to react. But, like a true gentleman, he gathered his composure, got a mischievous grin on his face, looked up at the control room and said, "Is channel ko aapne aaj promo de diya hai". The impromptu comment had the audience in splits and the compere changed the topic soon after to help ease the situation for the actor.
When contacted, Ashish Golwalkar, non fiction head of the channel, confirmed the incident and said, "Shreyasi is a talented singer on the show and is probably around 19 or 20 years old. She performed very well. Salman loved Shreyasi's performance but she got carried away after the song and spoke to Salman about Aishwarya.
We were all stunned and so was Salman. But he handled it well and made light of the moment by saying that by making a comment like that one, she had given the channel a promo it may play up in future."
I felt very bad and helpless with the way Aishwarya left you heartbroken in the end
