Hey Guys, I am Sneha. This is my first short story on two of my current favourite couple; Anurag and Taani. I am afraid, I won't be able to write Fan Fictions because they take ages and I barely have time to write them. But I hope this short story is liked by all of you, because I love sharing my thoughts when in the end of the day, I am exhausted. Hope you enjoy. 😃
Monsoon Special ~ Roses
Anurag paused in front of the boutique as the rain showered down on him, adding to the reason why his mood seemed pleasant. Glancing at the "Open" sign, he pushed the glass door silencing every women who stood there. From the workers to the oldies, every one seemed bewitched by his handsome face, and devastating personality.
But his eyes were only set on one thing, the beautiful bouquet which was mounted in the corner of the elegant boutique. Anurag himself didn't know why those red flowers caught his eye but he could tell, that the gift was perfect for her. Approaching towards the red roses, everyone cleared his way, trying their best to catch his attention but he was engrossed in his own train of thoughts.
He stretched out his hand to take the bouquet but before he could reach it, a hand whisked it out of his reach. "Hey!" he cried rushing towards her as she stopped dead in her tracks, somehow recognizing the voice. She didn't turn to face him and stood facing the other way while he urged her into handing him the flowers.
"I want those flowers, I was going to take them first.." he quickly explained, stepping forward to face her but she didn't meet his gaze, and placed the bouquet up to her face. "Stop!" she yelled as he reached forward to remove the bouquet. "I.. don't want you to see my face.."
'She must be really unattractive..' assumed Anurag, turning to face the other way as she placed the flowers in his hands which were behind his back. "Thank you.." but no reply came and he caught her retreating figure, her back only visible to him.
Shrugging his shoulders gently; he walked to the counter ignoring those glances which could tell that the ladies were dying for his attention. Turning to them, he passed them a grin as they gasped in delight, one almost falling back on the man behind her.

Taani flicked the page which was filled with equations, her head aching with pain. She laid her head down on the musty book while fixing her stole which fell off her neck. After a few minutes, the bell rang piercing through her sleep as she groaned and stumbled towards the front door.
Unlocking it, she tried keeping her eyes open but the handsome face which smiled back at her alerted her that something was on his mind. "Anu, what are you doing here, it's already 10pm.." she muttered running her hand on her long tresses.
"I - I bought something for you.." he blushed, slowly pulling the flowers from behind his back. Taani stared in surprise, from the roses to him looking for words. "What's wrong? Don't you like them?" he asked nervously fidgeting with the petals but she shook her head giggling.
"Anu! Of course, I like them. I wanted them as well at the store but you bought them.." she stopped dead and bit her lip at what she had said. "I..I mean..that.." But he placed a finger to her red lips silencing her and he gently muttered those three magic words that turned her world upside down..
