Nandish:Rashmi and me are just very good friends

Nandish Sandhu, who has been seen playing the lead in the popular serial Uttaran, was recently offered a role in Bigg Boss, which he turned down. However, the actor chooses to maintain a diplomatic stance saying, "I'm tied up with Uttaran and the show would have required a commitment of 90 days, which is impossible at this moment."

However, Nandish says that Bigg Boss is approaching more telestars this time. Speaking of his own television experience, he says, "It has been amazing. The best part is the entire team of Uttaran is very fun loving and all of us gel very well."

Nandish continues being approached for various roles, but the actor remains committed to Uttaran. "Yes, a lot of people have been approaching me for new serials. But I don't have time to take up anything else right now. But if I get an offer to do a weekly show as a host, I'd love to take it up," he says.

The actor also chooses to clear the air over the ongoing rumours pertaining to his alleged affair with co-star Rashmi Desai. "Yes, I know a lot is being said about mine and Rashmi's friendship. It is true we are very good friends and that's that. They are making a hue and cry because it's a popular show. Otherwise nobody would have cared much," he says.

Like any other TV actor, Nandish too would love to get into movies. "If I get a substantial role, I'd love to work in films too," he says, adding, "I did get a few offers though, and one was on the verge of being finalised but then things didn't work out at the last moment."
