Celina's house of wax

Celina Jaitly is groaning in pain.

Back from the shoot of Subhash Ghai's Money Money Money on Monday evening, Jaitly slipped in her new flat in Priyanka building, Yari Road, fell backwards on her right arm and tore a ligament.

The marble flooring in her house, which had been waxed that afternoon, wasn't cleaned properly, and was slippery.

"The waxing was essential. I have puppies who pee all over the floor and the stains were getting permanent. I am quite particular about keeping my new flat in top condition. I don't know how it happened, but yes, I was wearing high heels."

Treated at Criticare Hospital in Juhu, Celina returned home at 12.30 am.

It was a while before doctors could determine whether it was a hairline fracture or a ligament tear, and the actress could not attend Ghai's party for the crew the same night.

"The doctors have put a splint, but still, it's paining terribly. I am also taking painkiller injections. Dr Joshi and Dr Agarey are attending to me," she said.

Talking to HiTLIST on Tuesday afternoon, Jaitly added that she was fortunate to take a break from shooting for the next two days, on acount of Holi.

"I will probably resume on Thursday, but only for close-up shots and some portions of songs. The doctors have said that it will be at least two weeks before I am fine again."
