Entire world came crashing down as the news of his parents thinking abouthis marriage hit him... not only that his family had even chosen a girl for him.... Kapil hated the idea of arranged marriages in a word any kind of marriages...that very thought made him detest it... he often wondered how his parents who did not know each other before were happily settled with each other.... he believed life was to be lived to the fullest... and this marriage restricted everything... it would put a fullstop to his freedom..... Many thoughts wandered in his mind how one can guess how that girl would be from that pic.... her parents may be really good but what if that girl turns opposite.... the day when he goes to meet her... she might behave really good but after marriage what if she shows her true colours....his world onlyrevolved around himself.... with herin his life... he would have to think about her as well...her likes and dislikes... he will have to share his room with her.... she would want to have access to all his personal things... he would have to let her know everything about her whereabouts.... she would want to know where he was... with whom he was.... anything and everything....

Finally after trying hard convincing himself.... he moved to his parents room.... his parents were sitting on the bed... and not only that the bed was full of many girl pics... he walked up and told his mom that he was not yet ready for marriage.... he even refused to see her face.... his father's angry glare made him take back the words.... poor Kapil was always scared of his father.... he was a man of few words... no one opposed his views.... his mother convinced him that one meeting wont destroy his freedom... he still had the choice... his approval will only make them conclude whether that girl is right for him... and for that they were going to go to the girls house to meet her at 4pm.... Kapil reluctantly agreed... but the thought that he can reject the girl outright made him happy... he thought to himself.... he would somehow find a reason to reject the girl after meeting her...

"Anjali!!!" her aunt screamed.... Anjali looked like a pretty doll in that new dress.... she was loved by all... although she had lost her mother.... she was the apple of her father's eyes and other family members also bestowed her with all the love and affection.... her aunt admired her through the mirror.... and asked her to behave nicely in front of the guests... she even said that she was sure that this family will approve her and soon they'll be gearing for her marriage.... after telling this her aunt left to prepare all the exotiic dishes for the guests.... Anjali locked her room from inside as she gazed at herself in the mirror....

"Not Bad!!"... she told herself... as she admired her beauty through the mirror... she wondered what kind of a character was going to come into her life... who would have a claim on her life.... she was going to meet a guy for the 1st time.... and wondered about the mannerisms she would have to present in front of them.... not only that she was sure her aunts would bestow at times even false praises in front of them so that the family is convinced about her.... she did not wish to be tied in her life so soon... she still wanted to explore the world... still wanted to study further... she had tried reasoning with her father about this but her father had told her that they would talk to the family about it so she can study further.... everything seemed to doom her happiness but one thought lightened up her face.... that she still had the choice of rejecting him.... she convinced herself that she would find a way to reject him....
