I can't blame Sunidhi and I felt while giving out comments she treats Sreeram as her colleague and Rakesh as her fav student..my 2 cents. my be she thinks Sreeram is in her league :)

Maybe you should wait and watch the videos before commenting😉.

Sushruta, I did finally watched vids yesterday and Sunidhi's comments are justified. Rakesh absolutely rocked with the soniye song. Amazing, he was sounding like a very very experienced singer and not linke a II5 contestant.
I think Sunidhi did give fair comments. 😊

Im listening to his O Re Piya right now and i just cant believe that Sunidhi said after this performance that there was no feel! Maybe there were some mistakes but the feel certainly wasnt missing! You can actually see the feel, the passion, the dedication on Sreerams face!

since there was so much talking on the forum on her comments for Sreeram i started paying attention to her comments since few episodes. And yes i have been noticing the same thing. She isnt very much enthusiastic about Sreeram. Only Anu is supporting him big time. Sreeram should have got a standing ovation by now.

I agree with Sunidhi's analysis and comments. For listening pleasure alone , Rakesh was far ahead of Sriram . Even Asha Bhonsle acknowledged it. Rakesh's effortless style with emphasis on the nuances resembled that of the great Md Rafi , Udit Narain , Sonu Nigam etc. Sriram was better in stage performance , which Sunidhi also mentioned. I think Sriram is somewhat in the mould of Mahadevan , who is making waves with his innovative and breathless style of singing . I am a Udit Narain fan. But I guess, Mahadevan is more popular today , especially outside India.

Oh My dear...Udit is good but Shankar is superb....He is great so he is popular...SUits many actors faces....Udit was popular during his own time...Everything changes in time...So accept it...
I love Shanker and love Sreeram both for their breathless singng...Sunidhi's comments does not matter...

I get restless when the singer is breathless. Old school really , but I would go a mile to listen to Khoya Khoya Chand , sung by Udit or Sonu Nigam . Raakesh was my choice for quality and range . I am sure we shall hear more of Raakesh in times to come , than any other participant of II5.
