Sunidhi's comments for Sreeram and Rakesh

Sreeram:

Song 1: " Aap apne level se ek level aur aage aa gaye. And I am very proud of you."

Song 2: "Aap ke saath jab mein gaa rahi thi, mujhe to ek naya sa sreeram dikh raha tha, poori acting ke saath. You really impressed me and surprised me at the same time".

Rakesh: Song 1

" yehi keh sakti hoon ke vahan jab mein aapke saath gaa rahi thi mujhe nahi laga ki mein ek Indian Idol ke contestant ke saath gaa rahi hoon, bilkul aise laga ki aap ek dum ... khan air aur aap apna kaam jaante hai. Anu Malik was right. You were just right . Fantastic. Perfect.

Song 2: Pehla gaana to Rockesh ke saath tha aur yeh gaana ek dum romantic Rakesh babu ke saath. To mujhe to bahut bahut maaza aaya. Aap hamesha aise hi dil se gaate rahiye. Bas yahi chaahiye aur kya. Fantastic singing.


Try as I might I cannot get over the feeling that she is complete stingy in complimenting Sreeram.

well I haven't seen Vids yet. So I would say that Rakesh must've been better than Sreeram and recieved his comments accordingly.

Yeah Sunidhi is getting on my nerves

Its time she cuts the flak and gives appropriate comments to Sreeram which are worthy of his talent

I guess Sunidhi should learn classical music first

Sushruta is ABSOLUTELY right. Sunidhi has been always stingy when she has complimented Sreeram. But has been very lavish in her praise for Rakesh. I agree Rakesh is a excellent singer but Sreeram is no less, right?

Plus, Sreeram always chooses more difficult songs and performs them well, in comparison.

I agree, no questions about that.

Watched the videos twice... I don't see anything wrong or unfair in her comments... infact, Salim complimented Rakesh even more than the other two judges did...in the Extraa you can hear him say Rakesh is going to win Indian Idol...if I remember right, a few days back, there were posts doing the rounds that Salim was the only impartia ljudge.... now has that view changed too? 😉

I think the judges aren't being fair to any of the contestants in terms of giving comments. Rakesh clearly went off in the first song and I think once in his second song, but went recieved very good comments from the judges, Probably, the judges don't want the audience to think that the picked the wrong guy and vice versa. Yes, Sreeram deserved many more compliments, he sings with such a vigor and flare that I have not seen in any II contestant so far, just like a thorough professional👏

Where did Salim come into the picture? Salim complimented both Sreeram and Rakesh equally well. No problems with him. I am talking about Sunidhi.

I'm not sure what is wrong with the judges. For the longest time Rakesh was ordinary. Then all of a sudden he became the apple of their eye. Sometimes they have praised him aptly, he has had good performances. But then most of the time it seems that they go gaga over his mediocrity. Their praise for Sreeram over time has become more restrained despite Sreeram being extraordinary. In the long run its better for Sreeram - better have down to earth comments than over the top undeserving comments.

Although I have to add that word count does not a feedback make. For yesterdays performances some of the expressions Sreeram got showed beyond a shadow of doubt that he had really captivated people.
