Grab another crush to divert your mind from your boss... leading relationships with office people (esp. one's above you can become problematic -- not to bore you with my pessimism)
And about the age thing - i mean i truly believe age is just a number.
I see that you don't want to throw yourself into this relationship so that is the only advice i can give you :-) Maybe you have another crush/celeb.love/etc. etc. if you think more about them and less about your boss it may help lessen the feelings?
Try making a list of all the bad things about your boss.. his physical and mental traits that you don't like about him :-)
