Will Maan's love stand the Test?

This is a quotation I came across today and I immediately felt that it suited Maaneet to a T.

From all indications, it looks as though Maan will understand and support Geet when she will need him the most...by accepting her past with his brother along with Geet's baby.

However, having said that, I hope the channel, the producers and everyone else concerned with TRPs will not mess things up and sacrifice consistency for pedestrian drama.

I'm afraid the Cvs have already left the door open for some major misunderstanding...for eg: the one that comes to mind is that awful accusation Maan made to Geet, accusing her of using her 'addahs' to catch him as he IS such a catch...

Chances are, for the sake of 'dramebabzi' the CVs might be forced to take this recourse where Maan might accuse Geet of deliberately following him from Hosiyarpur either to get Dev or failing which, get Maan. Either way, Geet will look cunning and conniving.

Which brings me back to the quote....hope our instincts are correct and Maan will not jump to inane conclusions and be the strength and support that a man gives his beloved at her time of need.

Maan has already been betrayed in love once.... although I would love it if he stands by Geet but I thing thats wishful thinking... he will stand by her loads of drama happening first

well i also want maan to stand by geet when the truth comes out....I hOPE he does
u mentioned that maan accused geet, m not concerned with that...cause later on he himself said k he deliberately said that stuff because he knew geet wont be able to tolerate that and would leave the house because all these words will hurt her self esteem..he didnt really believe all that!
and may be as he is also betrayed in love once before, that too because of money.. So he'll understand geet's situation better...cox somehow they both sail in the same boat, both betrayed in love coz of money....i HOPE the CVs dont spoil it and ofcourse they'll be come misunderstanding but hopefully maan wil come to his senses soon enuff..

That's a beautiful quote Pippa. I too hope Maan will stand by her although I think initially he might act angrily and irrationally as he always does. But the good thing is, so far he always contemplates things later and feels sorry for his hasty conclusions. I wouldn't mind them showing this because it would be consistent with his character. He needs to think of all the incidents that happened in Hoshiarpur . If he does there is no way he can think poorly of Geet. Once he knows the truth, I have no doubt he will stande by her, no matter what storms they face.
