agreed......... anyway cvs aint killing geet... coz if they were they wouldnt be leading trps on star one.......(sorry certain points i agree but i MOSTLY disagree)

I just read Bridgette's (bDgt) post that they have changed the story writer of Geet . That may explain a lot of things. I agree with many things you wrote and I think most of us have felt that disappointment in some way or the other.

For me , I was actually ok with the comedy scenes etc , but the overall flow of the storyness and connectedness of the episodes has totally gone ...and many past gaps in the story left forgotten as if they never existed... that's surely not the way Geet was earlier ...it was a classy , exceptional show.

I still like the show more than any other show airing these days, just that I hope and pray it stays as the fresh show it started out as...

i just read bridgette s post too,thanks to you........yes it does explain a lot of things.........as i felt the story telling is changed by the core and u can sense it..........i like the earlier style like many others .......(pls bring the old writter back she was so good😭)....i completely agree with your take......i also like the comedy scenes but it will fade soon if they dont add content to it soon.......thanks again

Thanks.... see whats happening in RBO!! Even they had to change the village track coz of the poor viewership...Thier producer himslef said that in his recent interview!! Once they started showing the "normal" starone stuff like eyelocks and heroes in shower even RBO's TRP is increasing!!

@comedy scene.........as i said earlier i enjoyed the comedy's too......im not stone hearted.i do love the maaneet moments......their fight their closeness.....but it was much better with the previous writer priya she made the comedys fit with the storyline. she was the 1 came up with dd.....dhakdhak....dustdanav.......at her time the scenes were funny still it fitted together..made sense ,with keeping the story spirit and maan geet intact she made us laugh with light characters like adi,pinky who were funny but not over the top............at that time when geet talk to her self annoyed she did look 18 but not dumb,and silly...now she talks silly,and darlings its geeting old,and the reason we love the scene because its the maaneet...... they are not just changing the story line they are changing maaneet too.......bit by bit,maybe even the cvs dont realise it.......if it goes without content like this it will not be as interesting as it was before.....agar sref comedy karna hai y dont the make a geet comedy circus.....
@trps..............well trps.dont you guys think geet has made it in its own merit in the trp race.if being funny and youthful would be the main point dmg and mjht should rule star1 not geet........
its geet own spirit that win the hearts of the audience....
1.it got the no1 position before the writter change and sillyness started,it actually was much less liked when it was all funny scenes without content...the trps droped to 1.5 to .9.(somethinglikethat)
2.geet has strong characters like maan and geet who can be mature ,enjoyable,laughable at the same time.......writers created them in such ways.remember coffee scene .........i will not talk to you......dadi geet confrontation in the office......the phone convo ...the paper cutter.......i can go on.....they were both strong still enjoyable.....amazingly the new writer is destroying them for silliness,light moments.which doesn't go with their pre stated character.
