plz plz cvs dont kill geet

geet is the only hindi daily i watch...... from the start till now ,but somehow it has lost its touch for me .it just doesn't feel the same.......i feel like they killed its real spirit.
geet was a really intense drama based on a great concept.......written beautifully ,with the slightest details taken in count ofcourse the acting was bind blowing.........out of the world direction.........and got even better when story was taken to delhi,with the essence intact they make it more enjoyable with right amount of chemistry between geet and maan,which hooked everyone up with its magic.the eyelocks where sizzling then now its overused over done the intensity OHH its just gone.......or going. THE FLOW OF THE STORY USKA TO BAAT KARNA BEKAR HAI earlier every episode was linked to the previous episodes now they just try glue it together with glue trying shamelessly to make us laugh (the comic realy good though it wont last it will get boring and finally fade out)no story flow no plan ultimately no story like dmg and old balaji i heard even they have improved when geet has.......i better get to explaining before i abuse more(MY POV NO Offense intended OF COURSE)
1.first after the humilation of the party geet never get back at sasha,why?as if it never happened,maan and geet both forgot what happened?oh no cvs forgot because it wont be funny enough!
2.now geet doesnt think or try to find dev now no revenge is needed ,nothing that will make her feamous .
3.being maan who he is the krishna of our geet..the portray being the professionalise.never let emotions get the better of you..how can he fire geet in a silly argument..how can he blame her when he actually never gave her any notes or such.....so now emotion does get the best of him.
it was pointless..no the was just to get her in his home...
4.the confrontation of geet and dev how long yaar i dont think it took this long to find out dev was a fraud and married.
5. finally back to maan again he will now get married blah blah blah..........why suddenly it was all about him he doesnt love geet so he will throw her out of his sight,what he felt ,his anger his love...........i dont know somehow after the humtum night when the door open it was all about him .........i m not talking about the being dominant. ....the story view.....the writer's view ........the point of view ,,earlier geet and maan shared the view equally or may be it was focused on geet a little more........now its maan hua sabse paraya.........i like the maan too but in the long run they are ruining him........seeing him in hosyarpur.....then delhi.....well he had depth.now in his home the msk doing pointless things.pehle he used taunt now he just yells .........his intensity has changed guys.
6.the most hyped dargah scene i know for a fact a lot of people didnt like it,the dhagha scene was good the teri dewwani adoptation.........ahhhhhhhh..........remembar omkara at golden temple much simpler much more appealing it had a grip not just hipe........the reason they were at dargah well maan ok chalta hai lekin ....oh geet.....the picture frame cant it get anymore balaji..old version that is kyunki.kahani...kmh is much better.it was just for actors it got passed guru actualy.....geets emotions where not clear thanks to a grey script and finaly whats the point of the scene was not clear....geet realization......yes i know but you have to show it ....write it bole to.singing teri dewwani not enough....................oh come on it could have been much better written ,if it was wriitten i t could have been shot and act well.if the rice itself is not good how can u cook /make anything taste out of the world no matter how good masala (actor)cook (director) u have.....its the basic ingredient.
7.kurban hua aj bhi jab dekhta hu toh .......well uska liye kehney ke oukad nahin but kehnay kya.......yyyaaaccccccccc it was insult to maan, geet the beautiful song.......the director realy tried to make it beautiful but uske pass quality rice kahan hai ..woh kaise pakayga isse accha to uska promo tha .......i got so bored i flipped channel.........yaar kya kiya...... maaneet first closeness should have been out of the world lekin yeh..........chichichi babaji maaneet ka itna insult.
8.i wont say any more bcause every 1 is mad and bored (who got to this part with out closing the topic)yap mera demmag mein bakwass jaida hai lekin i felt really bad for guru he was sick and still he worked 4 us.....that kind of delication....he deserves the best ,the best chance to act cause he so hardworking he deserve to be the maan sing khurrana not the sick love puppy he is becoming(no offense to him)i just finished watching the hosharpur and 1st week of delhi.........nothing to say it is foundation of their show & true identity which should have been intect for a year ok how about six months.have some mercy on us......................a new show like geet in starone a so serious show made its mark for its content then its script the flow of the story acting which hold us to the next episode.it was the achivement of the earlier episode that made the trp what it is( episoes likethe kurban hua)........ if the earlier episodes equal quality episodes are made well it would have been gotten more trp like 2 now (in my pov)or maybe trps are achieved slowly by quality and content......not dream sequence .....closeness silly humour that will give u instant result but will make the future worthless as it will have no content.

true...even i dont find geet interesting these days. It has become too monotonous. hope it does not turn into another dmg or japsya

I too found the fighting scenes at the outhouse too much. They need to move the story forward...it's time for Dev/Geet/Maan to have a confrontation. The story can't go anywhere without that. Geet can't allow herself to fall in love with Maan until he knows the truth.

I agree. I havent seem Geet in nearly a week. I used to watch it everyday. It just doesnt seem the same. Hope CV's improve it. CV's dont kill Geet.

Great job on writing such a well-thought out post, very valid points. What I try to remember is that the CVs have to come up with an episode five days a week and that must be very difficult to do, not only from the production side but keeping viewers hooked. Geet has been gaining in the ratings and I think the CVs are trying to keep the momentum going so people still watch the show and get others to watch it as well. So they have to draw things out and delay confrontations (like Dev-Geet) and leave questions unanswered (like more information on Sameera), as frustrating as that is sometimes.

Also, I agree that the show has changed direction a bit, but again, I think that's because of the ratings, which went up after the Maneet track started. (And to be completely honest, even though I am TOTALLY for women power and I applaud the original concept of Geet, I am such a huge Maneet fan that I am happy about the shift in focus toward the couple.)

I think it would be different if Geet were a movie and you just had 2-3 hours to focus on Geet and her plight of being abandoned by an NRI, but it's a TV show so there must be pressure to respond to what the viewers want. I am not sure but I would think that the CVs will pay more attention to the NRI-abandonment track once Dev and Geet actually meet.

And I also agree that Maan's character has been changing, but we can try looking at that as his character development. He was pretty harsh on Geet before, and if they are going to fall in love, he has to become a little "softer," you know what I mean? Like, I feel the Maan from Hoshiyarpur only saved Geet because he felt in his heart it was the right thing to do as a human being, but now it seems like it's because he actually has feelings for Geet rather than out of obligation. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it seems like the CVs are trying to balance his harder side with his confusion and reluctance for falling for Geet and that's why he is changing. I hope they keep him the same intense Maan, though.

Anyway, just my two cents. :) Great job again on your post.

I do agree that the show needs to take a more mature tone but since the cv's have put down Geet as an 18 year old from a small town, serious heavy conversations would seem out of place and we would point that out too. So for the time being the childish behaviour, cute banter with cute intimate moments seem good.

I just read Bridgette's (bDgt) post that they have changed the story writer of Geet . That may explain a lot of things. I agree with many things you wrote and I think most of us have felt that disappointment in some way or the other.

I agree to a lot of the points.... Geet would have been different if it was aired in colours or Star plus... It would have gone on the women empower track. But a StarOne show will not survice on that heavy duty drama track since 99% of viewers are youth!!
So at the end of the day its TRP that rules..... and in btw if they are showing some serious stuff its an incentive!!
