‘Meri MAUT ke zimmedar..’: BB17’s Anurag Dobhal accuses family of TORTURE over inter caste marriage

Popular YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, widely recognised by his online name UK07 Rider, has built a massive following through his biking vlogs and candid storytelling on social media. Known for documenting road trips, motorcycles and personal experiences, the creator gradually became one of the most visible faces in India’s digital creator community. His popularity expanded beyond YouTube when he appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 17, where his outspoken personality brought him both support and controversy. However, the influencer recently shocked fans by sharing a deeply emotional message online, alleging that he had been subjected to severe mental harassment and torture. Soon after the cryptic note surfaced on Instagram, he released a lengthy video explaining the circumstances behind his distress and calling it his final vlog.

In the emotional recording, the YouTuber said he was stepping away from his channel and claimed the trauma he experienced came from within his own family. While breaking down in tears during the video, he described how dramatically his life had changed in recent months and how overwhelming the situation had become. He recalled eventually starting tuition work to support himself and pursue his dreams, claiming he had always prioritised his parents’ needs above his own ambitions.

The YouTuber also spoke at length about his relationship with his wife Ritika. He explained that the two first connected through social media after she repeatedly messaged him as a fan for several years. Eventually he responded and the two started communicating regularly. Their online conversations gradually developed into a romantic relationship that lasted about two years before they decided to marry. However, he alleged that his family strongly opposed the relationship from the beginning.

According to Dobhal, tensions escalated shortly before the wedding. He claimed that just six days before the ceremony his parents refused to attend the event, leaving him to manage everything alone. Describing the emotional strain he faced at the time, he said, “Mere se hath judwaye gaye, per padhwaye gaye, Mere se sorry bulwaya gaya sare relatives ke samne. Papa aur mumma ne is level tak torture kia ki bola ki naa hum khush rahenge naa tujhe khush rehne denge.”

He alleged that the opposition was largely because his marriage was inter caste. Dobhal claimed that after the wedding he and Ritika were not allowed to enter the family home and were rejected by his parents. During the video he further stated that the situation became so overwhelming that he attempted suicide. Anurag claimed that he had once tried to commit suicide by hanging himself from a saree he had brought for his mother, however he could not do it because he thought of his parents. He also claimed that he has tried committing suicide multiple times, however, he never had the 'himmat' to do it.

Another painful revelation came when he said that his relationship with Ritika had also broken down during the turmoil. In the same video he stated, “Mere maut ke zimmedar mummy, papa, Kalam (brother) and Shreya. I have nothing left to do anything. I am under a lot of depression. Mujhe samajh nahi aaraha kaise yeh feeling eliminate karu. Is video ke baad shayad main gayab hojaunga. Main bas sona chahta hoon. 5 din se kuch khaya nahi hai, dimag ekdum khatam hogaya hai.”

Dobhal also accused his brother Kalam of threatening to reveal personal matters on social media and allegedly taking away properties and even his dogs. To support these claims, he included what he described as proofs in the video.

Along with the video message, Dobhal shared a long note written in Hindi in which he addressed to his wife Ritika directly. In the message he expressed his love for her and said he wished she had believed him instead of listening to other people. He wrote that after he was gone, his parents and sister Shreya might say many things about him but insisted he had not been wrong. He urged Ritika to stand up for the truth and protect the dignity of their child.
