Even days fter the original date of the post, many things that you wrote are still valid..

Even I wrote in an earlier post about Maan's past that may be his mother was treated badly by his father and took it withouit opposing (that wud explain maan's dialogues to geet , like - tum auraton par koi zulm kare toh complain karti ho par awaaz uthane ko kaho to rishton ke naam par peeche hat jaati ho - types... )

And you are so right - I never realised it before - Geet must have reminded him of his mother and that's why subconsciously he always wanted to help her and save her , well before he actualy fell in love with her...

And yes, Dev's mother calling Maan chote saab surely puts to rest all doubts about Maan and Dev's type of brotherhood - it seems highly unlikely that they are real brothers ..

Anyways, if CV's are reading this forum they must have seen how many of us are obsessed about Maan's past and what made him like this (because we are all obsessed with Maan himself !) , and they must be enjoying our plight ... because only they know the real truth !

Am very much shattered sine the TB article has come out..
All i can think off is this:
MSK was rude and bitter from the start even before he met sameera... Bcoz of his parents n troubled childhood... He decided to marry for pure practical reasons or dadi's pressure... No romantic involvement at all....Sameera understood that but due to parental pressure agreed. But was unable to digest the fact that she is getting into a loveless marriage which has no future n may be thats y left him on the d-day...Thats why sameera is extremely positive? This completely shattered MSK's plans and hurt his ego badly..
