I completely agree with you... Your points and logic does make sense...

I am especially impressed, by the point regarding missing Maan's parents....

I can't help it but point it out that in Friday's epi he says to himself,"Sameera ke jaane ke baad toh har aurat ko khud se dur karna aasan hogaya tha mere liye..."

I can't think of any reason that why on earth would someone call his/her mother by name, just because she is a weakling.

This is undigestable to me atleast...

remember when Maan told Geet that her innocent face is just a mask [or thats what i understood] but i think the connection between a "stupid girl" and a "cheating, manupulative" and all that is only a mask away.. whoever this Sameera is, she probably showed him that she is helpless and stupid but then he saw what she did to him so he applied it to all women.. BUT somehow, he cant really APPLY it to Geet.. or else he wouldve been able to simply let her go.. despite what destiny always does which bring them together in a weird way..

maybe he did not love Sameera the way he loves Geet now.. to always want to protect her and to always want to be by her side, indirectly..
maybe this Sameera was his first woman he ever interacted with, that is not related to him, and then she betrayed him.. maybe thats a reason for his actions now.. that her reaction to his interaction was betrayal so.. he thinks he should be tough to be able to stay away from all women..

I too thought that Sameera was his mom and she must have committed suicide but the last few episodes showed that Sameera is indeed a past flame. In one of the scenes he says that he was successful in keeping women at bay after Sameera left but Geet is the only woman whom he cannot keep away. Now why would he draw a parallel between Geet and Sameera unless he was romantically involved with Sameera too? It is apparent that whatever he might have felt for Sameera is nowhere close to what he feels for Geet. That would explain why he looks confused around Geet.


I also have a feeling that the story may have been changed midway. Remember Priya, the earlier story writer has been replaced by Vincent? Maybe with that the thread of consistency in characterisation of Maan has also gone for a toss. The present writer is more interested in frivolous stuff such as a betrayal from an ex-girl than thinking anything deep such as a troubled childhood for Maan I guess. So I wouldn't be surprised if this mysterious Sameera is brought in sometime in the future as a third angle. Sooner or later all good serials tread the same beaten path.

hahaah!! i know your intentions go naughty only when it comes to maan... anyway, what i wanted to say was... it wouldnt be great if she is this sister who was in love na? but how would be explain the paison waala bit? i am game.. even i dont wnt some stupid ex pyar... walla cliche story....

It'll make the story more mature than a flimsy ditched lover track n more intense too.. After all maan did say its an intense luv story..
