Anandi gets ready to leave. Everyone is in the living room, along with Khajan and Bhago. Basanth asks Bhairav to reconsider his decision, but Bhairav is not ready to listen. Maasa looks angry. Anandi comes there with Jagya telling everyone she will be back in a week. She takes everyone's blessings.
Maasa tells Anandi to remember all that she has learned in her saasra and not forget it in her mayka, after all 5 yrs is a long time. All adults are flabbergasted at this revelation while the kids look confused. Maasa then tells Anandi that she is being sent away to her parent's house for 5 yrs. The kids are shocked. Anandi thinks she is being sent away for some mistake and begins to cry. Jagya agrily takes Anandi's bag inside declaring that she isn't going anywhere.
Sumitra takes Anandi to her room while ANandi keeps asking her why she is being sent away. Sumitra tries to explain abt her age and all but does a pathetic job. She gives up and tells Anandi that she won't be able to justify why she is being sent away, but all she can say is its for Anandi's welfare. She tells Anandi how much she will miss her. She used to stop by Anandi's room every morning and every night so that she is the first and last person she sees. She starts to cry. Anandi consoles Sumitra and agrees to go. She says she will talk to Jagya and convince him,
In Jagya's room, Jagya is busy flinging Anandi's clothes out of her bag š Anandi comes there and tells him to stop. She tells him that she is going away since that's what their parents want. Jagya is not ready to listen, but Anandi tells him that they should trust their elders. Jagya angrily tells her to leave, but that he will never agree. Anandi tells him to take care of himself and tearfully asks him if he won't see her off. Jagya is upset and turns away from Anandi, not saying anything.
Precap : Jagya shouts Anandi's name and runs to Khajan's jeep. He tearfully holds Anandi's hand...
