Rahm,it feels like they had a communication gap.I mean his dialogues, that Anmol would be a better pati, that's not him!May be he was that way cos he was on his death bed but he should have known that Ragini would accept but suffer and she did for 6 years.

How she pleaded and begged not to!I was literally in tears for Ragini!

I was in tears too. She really didn't want to get married. She was completely forced into it.

Yeah, the cts just wanted to sell this storyline hence the silly lines by Ranvir. 🤢

How can anyone be a better husband than Ranvir? He is the one that made Ragini love HERSELF. Before she can love anyone (other than family) she has to love herself and she herself said during their SR night that Ranvir's love made her love herself. Whenever she saw herself through his eyes, she felt beautiful.

I think Ranvir knew Ragini would suffer, but she'd suffer even more without Apoorva's character because the business would be hard to handle as well as everything else.

You see, I completely get ranvir's sincerity in doing what he did. And while I WOULDN'T say he was completely heedless, I don't feel he was HEEDFUL enough. He knows ragini would obey his every word. But did he consider how much it crushed her that her husband can part from her, giving her to another? Did he consider that she would not be able to move on, to love someone else? Did he consider that she would now be trapped in, bound to, a relationship she has no emotional attachment for? He thought about things technically i.e. Anmol will be able to support his family and help them in need. But surprisingly he didn't think about the emotional attachment involved here, and how such a forced attachment can ultimately cause emotional destruction. It is as if he didn't trust her to make her own path, to love again should she wish to. She was reduced, and expelled from making her own decision, which is her RIGHT as a grown woman with independent thought and logic. Indeed he meant well, but did he not consider that?

That bothers me too, yaar. This isn't the Ranvir we know. He would never have done this. The cts are just trying to justify their decision by making Ranvir do this.

I don't agree with the decision either. I felt that Ragini should have been left on her own to make these choices. She's a strong woman.

Perhaps Ranvir felt that a part of him would live on in Apoorva's character, but he failed to see that Ragini wouldn't want a part, if it's not him entirely.

@ TS : I agree that Ranvir was a very nice character and he was not much appreciated but here i disagree with you on selfless part ,being selfless doesn't mean you have to do some sacrifices and to think for others is good but not to think from their perspective is not a thing to appreciate .
you have every right to decide for your own life and can take decision which impact your life ,but taking decision for others without thinking about their own feeling cannot be termed as selfless act .
Ragini has every right to decide about her life, why Ranvir didn't give any option to Ragini? she was forced to marry a person whom she didn't even know , Life would have taught Ragini to deal with the situation(without Ranvir and Sadhana), the mother in her would have definitely helped her to emerge stronger for the sake of Khushi/Tamanna .

I didn't say Ranvir was selfless only because he got his wife remarried. Look at the other examples.

I don't agree with this remarriage either, but it must have been a hard decision to make to hand over the one you love more than anything to someone else.

I only appreciate the intention, but not the deed itself.

i also agree he was d one who never got d credit of anything inspite of doing so much for his family . he always thought abt his bhahiya-bhabhi throught his life , even though in their HM also he was discussing abt sadna wid ragini . wht else u want frm a true gentleman & a true selfless person .
in short words he was just a perfect man whom every girl want as a life partner . he was a best husband, best bro, best dever, best son, best damad , & wht not , in one word PERFECT.
ranvir ke bare mein bolne jaungi toh pata nahi kitni der lag jaye . i will never b able 2 forget d char of ranvir nor i will ever b able 2 forget kinshuk who brought soul in dis char . just want 2 say tht i just lov kinshuk/ranvir frm core of my heart

Stole the words right out my mouth! 👏

He was amazing. The most under appreciated person in Bidaai. His goodness was like the wind, it touched everyone but no one ever saw it or appreciated it fully.

@Rahm: I haven't read the whole post, but all I can say that Ranvir is the best character in Bidaai, Kinshuk was truely the best to do this role, he did it truely so well, the way he cares for others, but unfortunatly the so called creatives ruined this character with one stone, by showing the scenes with Apoorva's character when he praised his wife to him and later on hospital, the dialouges which Ranvir uttered in these scenes r truely our of the character, it seems like the so called creatives just want to get rid of him, iseliye they did like this 😡🤢

yeah, I totally agree. The cts just wanted to justify this leap and so they made these stupid scenes up. 🤢
