Ranvir is probably one of the most, if not the most, selfless character I have ever seen on television.

He has always thought about his family and his selflessness comes so easily that people often don't even notice it. I love the fact that he makes sacrifices where he feels is right and will always stand up for what is wrong. He doesn't let wrong things roll off his back.

During Ragvir track, when there was no hope of Ragvir uniting, Ranvir was there trying to bring Vinu out of jail for the happiness of Ragini and her family.

He stood up to his mother, but did it in such a respectful manner. He also backed out of his own happiness with Ragini when he realized his mother would never accept her.

He almost sacrificed his own marriage for the sake of his brother. He didn't want anyone reacting differently towards Choti Ma in case she realizes that he's finding out her truth and so he took all the blame upon himself whether it be with Ragini or his parents (remember how much Vasu yelled at him and then kicked him out of the house?)

He understood the need of Sadhana to tell the truth in court. He even wanted the truth to be told knowing full well that he'd be in jail for longer cause of it. Did he deserve jail when he was trying to save his bhabi? No. But still, he knew the truth needed to be told just like Sadhana. 👏

He fought to bring his bhaiya and bhabi together at a time when his bhaiya was oblivious to what an amazing wife he truly had. Only Ranvir saw Sadhana's importance in Aalekh's life.

He left his home, his job, the luxuries of life for his bhaiya and bhabi. He wanted to stand up for what was right and staying there being with Vasu was showing that he was okay with what she did.

And now, though I don't agree with this decision, he thought of his family and his wife in his dying breath. He knew that Apoorva's character needed to marry into the family to really be there for the family. As a caretaker, Apoorva's character can leave and won't have anything holding him back, but being married to Ragini, he will have formed relationships within the family that he wouldn't be able to leave easily.

How hard it must have been for him to give his wife, his love, his everything over to another man, but he did it so well.

Ranvir is a character that is under-appreciated. His goodness is often not even noticed. That is true goodness. I love his character and I want him back!

Ranvir is selfless defined.

See,I feel he did this for Anmol rather than Ragini.Good, self less person no doubt but once again leaves a lot to be desired as a husband which still remains my main gripe. He successfully emotionally blackmailed her into the marriage.JMHO!

The scene is hard to get over.May be never!

We always wanted a complete scene for RagVir and we got one and that too such painful one

I don't think he did it for Apoorva's character. He was thinking of his family and Ragini. He knew they would need someone to take care of them, but if he appointed Apoorva's character as a caretaker, he'd be just that. He would still be an outsider to the family. By marrying Ragini to him, he made him a part of the family and he can take care of the family from within.

I hated the emotional blackmail part, but I sort of understand the sentiment behind it. Although I still wish he hadn't done this.

I will never get over that scene. Ragini's tears and her begging him not leave her. I'll never forget that. I'll never forget that wink or the fact that he said he was in so much pain and for her to let him go. 😭

So true, Ranvir was like "taaja thandi hawaa ka jhonka" in the serial. I will miss him so much. I will miss Ragvir too who never got their due post marrige and were such awarded such a tragic end to their love.

Ranvir always supported what was right - love him for that.

Ranvir was a bit like a MALE version of Sadhna.

Anyway I'm too offended by this ghatiya show to say anything else. I feel exhausted. They have gone too far.

Rahm,it feels like they had a communication gap.I mean his dialogues, that Anmol would be a better pati, that's not him!May be he was that way cos he was on his death bed but he should have known that Ragini would accept but suffer and she did for 6 years.

How she pleaded and begged not to!I was literally in tears for Ragini!

You see, I completely get ranvir's sincerity in doing what he did. And while I WOULDN'T say he was completely heedless, I don't feel he was HEEDFUL enough. He knows ragini would obey his every word. But did he consider how much it crushed her that her husband can part from her, giving her to another? Did he consider that she would not be able to move on, to love someone else? Did he consider that she would now be trapped in, bound to, a relationship she has no emotional attachment for? He thought about things technically i.e. Anmol will be able to support his family and help them in need. But surprisingly he didn't think about the emotional attachment involved here, and how such a forced attachment can ultimately cause emotional destruction. It is as if he didn't trust her to make her own path, to love again should she wish to. She was reduced, and expelled from making her own decision, which is her RIGHT as a grown woman with independent thought and logic. Indeed he meant well, but did he not consider that?

Perfect!! 👏

In yesterday's epi more than any thing else he felt the need to give ANmol a family.I said this in another post,I wouldn't have minded if ANmol was introduced in a different way and she took the decision herself instead of being coerced into it.

@ TS : I agree that Ranvir was a very nice character and he was not much appreciated but here i disagree with you on selfless part ,being selfless doesn't mean you have to do some sacrifices and to think for others is good but not to think from their perspective is not a thing to appreciate .
you have every right to decide for your own life and can take decision which impact your life ,but taking decision for others without thinking about their own feeling cannot be termed as selfless act .
Ragini has every right to decide about her life, why Ranvir didn't give any option to Ragini? she was forced to marry a person whom she didn't even know , Life would have taught Ragini to deal with the situation(without Ranvir and Sadhana), the mother in her would have definitely helped her to emerge stronger for the sake of Khushi/Tamanna .
