In collaboration with two production houses - Red Chillies Idiot Box & Milestone Movies Pvt Ltd, three romantic movies will air every Saturday at 7 pm.
With this series, MTV is all set to kickstart the filmy career of some carefully selected talent as it is India's 1st platform for aspiring actors, singers and music composers. Filmed in London & Mumbai and ready for release, MTVplex presents Cornetto Luv Reels promises path breaking UGC content to the audiences.
Bringing to viewers a whole new breed of filmmakers, MTV will direct these budding talents whereas Red Chillies Idiot Box & Milestone Movies Pvt Ltd will take forward the production. After the success of MTV's 'fully faltoo films', this time the channel ventures into brand new talent & a brand new genre. The makers, actors and content of these movies itself was carefully viewed and shortlisted. After grueling auditions online, the cast for three romantic movies was selected.
Adds Aditya Swamy, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, MTV India, "Young people are always looking for fresh forms of entertainment and who knows the pulse of this audience better than the audience itself. Luv Reels is India's first user generated film series and it could potentially be the start of something very powerful."
Says Shah Rukh Khan, "I feel that it is very important to encourage young talent in an industry where there is such fierce competition. Keeping that emotion in mind, we are very happy to associate with MTV & Cornetto to launch careers of fresh talent."
'Like I Love You', the first movie, is about Sonia and Siddhant, played by Suma Bhattacharya and Rahil Tandon who meet at a train station in London. Their journey involves a few twists and turns and they land up going separate ways, only to find out that they love each other. Directed by Somnath Sen & produced by Red Chillies Idiot Box, "Like I Love you" will make you believe that happy endings very much exist!

ok i watched "like i love you " and the movie was wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ,i have to admit the way they have shot london beautifullllllllllll and OMG if anyone can download the title song please do and hear it also its so good it will make you fall in love😳😳😳😳😳
Rahil tandon that guy who played sid will surely make it big he was 2 cute .
i think these short movies if marketed well will do really good ,its such a welcum charge from the regular soap opearas.
