One of my favorites from Alka Yagnik!


Great composition all the way by AR Rehman! Great album as well. I think it was after this he received God-like status. Alka Yagnik sang perfectly in this song. When she joins the chorus in the beginning, the song automatically becomes better.

She had a really strong sequence here

I think this was exceptionally sung. Great all the way, challenging, high pitches were great, excellent expressions, great play with the tune of the song, harkats, everything just perfect!


The only problem I'd have with the singing here is she didn't sing enough. A lot of it was with Chorus. Quality-wise its 10/10, but quantity wise, its not. So its the old quality vs. quantity debate. But I think, because the composition is so good, even the parts she did sing (which was still most), were really great

Wow, wonderful singing by alkaji, after a long time I am listening to this masterpiece of ARR. Overall I loved alkajis singing, the only thing I wished is she should have been given a bit more lines. Loved it, I think 9.5 is my real score, but I shall rate it a 9/10.
