@bold: Agree dude! Totally agree with you! Force a guy into doing anything and his "ego" takes a blow - which means he'll then do anything to feed it back to it's original state and in this case it would probably mean ill-treating people around him so he can feel better. In Nishi's case, I am sure he would have thrown a huge tantrum and made life hell for Devki - love or no love, no one deserves that! So I am glad he is marrying Pragya - if he suffers, let it be through his own choice so he has no one but himself to blame.

And yaar, isn't that the age old question - why some DILs can't treat their in-laws like they would their parents? And why some in-laws treat their DILs worst than they would their daughters! *sigh* I guess, if you're not related by birth people feel it's "okay" to be jerks to you. Which is no excuse and it is not even a logical enough reason - but woh kehte hain na, jisko jo karna hota hai woh toh kar k hi rehta hai.. wajah koi bhi bana lo phir, kya farak parhta hai.. 🤢
