It was better than Love Aj kaal. The only think is that Love Aj kaal has better songs than Wake Up sid IMO. What I loved about Wake Up sid was that a lot of youth can relate to the film and the it has a message.

It was a good one time watch but loads ahead of Love aaj kal in terms of screenplay and acting by the main leads. Nobody hammed. The hamming by Saif and lack of expressions by Deeps was intolerable in LAK. Ranbir and Konkona were far ahead in being able to relate to the gen-x audience (my opinion not a fact).

A million times better. This is the only Indian movie I liked in 2009, I adored it! It is so simple, sweet, lighthearted, genuine, beautiful, touching and what not. it is a must watch, its a very very simple movie, loved it!!!😃

WUS is one of the cutest film I have seen! Even if I felt that Konkana and Ranbir shared absolutely no chemistry!

The film belonged to Ranbir through and through and the boy carried it off effortlessly, portraying the spoilt brat with a golden heart! The actors who portrayed his best friends were also very charming and so was the relationship shown between Sid and his parent's! Especially the one scene where Sid's mother is going through his childhood albums and he stares at her, suddenly realizing his mistakes!

It was such a beautiful parent-child moment, captured perfectly on-screen!

Its a simple story, with highly relatable charactets, dialouges that you would hear in normal everyday convesations, no fancy locations or clothes, no items songs...yet a very, very enjoyable and entertaining movie!

A film made straight from the heart! Its a must see!
