Never heard of this song either. But it seems to be a pretty good song composed by AR Rehman. And as I listened to it quickly, some very fine singing by Sadhna, just superb.

Man this is the pity in Bollywood. Even this film was a big time flop. The other songs in this film Bole Sajni and Kissa Hum Likhege are worth listening too.

Going by the theme of the round, for me this song perfectly justifies that when compared with other songs. Other songs are more on romantic side. One extra mark for Sadhna ji for bringing in the right feel and expressions.

10/10

I sometimes feel that Sadhna is highly underrated. But this track should make her a cat amongst the pigeons. True to her name sargam!

I remember watching this movie on TV at Bhilainager, MP and too bad the film sank without a trace, but its music is genuinely sweet, melodious and clean plus simple unlike today's "noisy" tracks.
Now coming to this track, why is it that she gets a perfect 10?

Feel.
Voice. Expression
Sync plus rhythm.
Modulation and harkats.

In a nutshell, she does everything that a track like this requires to make it an immense pleasure to listen. Her voice control at various places adds to the high points of this track, itself pretty difficult as a composition. But, its A.R. Rehman, so we come to expect nothing but the best.

Outstanding. Bravo.👏

10/10.

If last round had a strong Anu Malik presence, then this round has surely raised the bar with the focus on Southern Maestros! (That includes Anuradha's 'Dhak Dhak'!)

There were a few moments in the singing where Sadhanaji sounded like Lataji - which is a great compliment. The antara has a very difficult tune. Then the transition back to the main refrain requires a lot of layakari. Throughout, there are some lovely harkats.

The 2nd antara is more impressive, as it has a better throw from Sadhanaji and her expressions are much improved.

Overall, I would have thought of giving this a 10 if there was more vibrancy, more of a smile in the singing. But I am going to be kanjoos and give it a 9/10.

Haven't heard this song before..its really nice..a different and fresh theme..Lets see..

Nice calm tone of the voice. The throw is projected very low in the start, could have been more pronounced. Lovely innocent expressions, brings a smile to the face. Pronunciation is aptly done according to the theme of the song.

Her voice has rendered so much beauty to the lyrics; the words are emphasized with fantastic purity. The throw improves from the initial portion of the song and reaches the perfect place as it should be. So, I will not cut marks for the initial lack of power in the throw. This song really surprised me! 'wow'! Her expressions took my heart away. Lovely!

I will give this pyari singing a solid 10 out of 10. 😊
