Round 4: Sunidhi Chauhan

A perfect 10 from me for this Sunidhi rendition...beautifully sung..especially when she sings the lines starting with "Jitne paas..."

Note: Remember this is a romantic round and you should put extra emphasize on how romantic they make the song

This is a good song, actually, and I liked it, but in this case, Sonu ji was better. Finally, a milder song from Sunidhi. But then, it's nothing ordinary coming from her. Her previous songs in other rounds were better. I'll give her an 8!

This song is extremely challenging for a singer like sunidhi to sing, and this gave her a big chance to prove her versatility, which she did with elan.
Sunidhi is that type of singer who is extremely strong with higher notes and here she sings with two scales below her usual singing, and proves her talent.

But, when it comes to conveying that romantic feeling, she exceeds, yes, but a factor-melody, is an area where she could have done a bit better. She gets close, but not enough to get a 9.

A very memorable and romantic song. One of my favourites, especially in terms of romantic lyrics. More beauty is rendered to the lyrics if they are spoken in the right sense and emotion, this is what creates an impact on the listener.


Beautiful beginning by Sunidhi when she starts singing her part. Delicacy in singing is something one would not expect from Sunidhi, whose majority of the songs are loaded with powerful singing. She manages to retain the beautiful mysterious mode of the song. Pronunciation crystal clear, each and every word is correctly stressed. The control she renders to her voice is appreciative. Voice quality is excellent. Sunidhi makes a mark here that she can definitely sing slow romantic songs as well. So hats off to her for proving her versatility. One of the best songs from Sunidhi.


Hhhhmmmm..Romantic feel is definitely and clearly visible. The control, the subtlety and the vibrato singing - all refer to the excellent feel of this song. "Jitne Paas Khwabo Ke Nazar Utnay Paas Tu Rehna Humsafar" the way she lifts the word 'Nazar' and then turns her voice down, and again rises on the word 'Tu' and then again moves the voice down making it subtle, is just beautiful! I enjoyed each and every word that Sunidhi sang in this song. Perfect expressions, a complete romantic feel. Takes me to another level.


Concluding my evaluation for this performance, it has to be 10 on 10 with a complete romantic feel.

I've heard this song umpteen number of times earlier and needless to say just love it!!
