But anyways, sure she showed versatility, but for that I'm not going to give more marks. Madhushree's singing was better this round in the similar slow type of song. There is a reason why Sunidhi's forte isn't this. She is still good I know, but even in these kind of songs I think she has sung better other times than "Mere Haath Mein". Her voice was just flat and monotonous at times.

Hello ssk ... dont agree with the this part of your post ... i think she has modulated her voice pretty well and that goes a long way in retaining the feel of the song!!

Also dont agree that others could've sung this better ... Shreya maybe as well ... but Alkaji's voice is too thin for this song!!! The song requires (rather i feel the song requires) that the singers voice be deep with that slight touch of huskiness ... if u notice even Sonu is singing in a deep voice in the song and the master singer that he is, he manages it pretty well too 👏!

And in rating a singer for singing a song, you have to consider the song as a whole as well!! There was a good reason why Sunidhi was chosen for this song and IMHO the reason is there for all to see or rather hear! 😛

Ofcourse to each his own!! 😊

I totally agree with you. Sunidhi was the perfect choice for this song and she did really really well here.

Aha excellent post kiti_g! Sunidhi is the perfect palyback voice for Kajol and she DID modulate! Monotonous - are ppl saying her first line was sing in the same note?

Sunidhi did full justice to the song. But 7 is a respectable score so fair enough...

I am with ssk here...its not that sunidhi has not done well..but that the best her voice permits...we have agree that her voice suits high pitch songs better just like shreya can for soft ones...but why is it that every time there is a argument in this section..I am just asking of curiosity...if ssk felt the voice was flat its his opinion...so why pull the members leg down pointing to his judgement..its happening again and again..it just spoils the fun.
