I bolded the main confusion here. I didn't give 7 to the song, I gave it to the singing. It seems someone is giving ratings to the songs rather than the singing (Get it? "Someone").

But anyways, sure she showed versatility, but for that I'm not going to give more marks. Madhushree's singing was better this round in the similar slow type of song. There is a reason why Sunidhi's forte isn't this. She is still good I know, but even in these kind of songs I think she has sung better other times than "Mere Haath Mein". Her voice was just flat and monotonous at times.

The singer cannot sing without a song! so it is obvious that i can say that it is a beautiful song! there is no harm in it, as I have already given my evaluation on the singing.

Singing is not at all flat. There are wonderful renditions done by Sunidhi. This song marks her versatility in singing. Anyways, PEACE OUT!

And this whole thing about not being able to connect with her voice surprises me a bit. Of course, if you can't connect to the singing, then that's not your fault. But I wonder what it is people want from singers to connect in a soft song? Do they want the staple thin voice?

They were. Monotonous. Sunidhi Chauhan is my favorite female singer and I'm saying that. She excels in the upbeat/dance songs, not these. Though she is very good at these songs too, but I've heard better "soft" song performances from her.

I agree. You know what I felt after listening to this song, that I think Sunidhi should do more of 'this' type of singing. It really is a breeze of fresh air! There is no chance of shriek here, as the voice is not a thin one. She can pick the higher notes and lower notes with a great throw. I just love it.

Are you finished with rating the songs? or still left some?
